They have a variety of mock meats here which we enjoyed. The pho was excellent, and so was the rice dish we had.

Edit: tried the hot pot, it was extremely delicious! Definitely recommend. I believe they normally use vegetarian ingredients but they had no problem making it all vegan upon request. Came with a variety of tofu, mock meats and greens. Very hard to find in the GTA!

Very frustrating experience here. The dishes do not match the photos on the menu! Had a mediocre vermicelli dish and it tasted like it was made the day before and reheated in a microwave. The fried tofu appetizer didn’t match the menu description and I worried about getting food poisoning.
Read moreThe staff do not speak English and the only way to order is to write the menu items on a slip of paper. Don’t bother asking if an item has dairy or egg- they’ll just look at you and point at the paper.

Nothing fancy here. Just good authentic Vietnamese food. The service is friendly. Seems to be family owned and run. It’s a sit down place with some grocery items to go. I got #64 and thought it was very good. I liked the faux meats and the sauce. Came with tea. The price was about what I would expect, not too bad.

Enjoyed the vegan mock meat - Edit
I ordered #64 and I enjoyed it a lot! The mock beef tasted delicious and spicy. The rice noodles were cooked well and the vegetables were fresh. The service was exceptional! I would have liked the menu to specify which dishes are vegetarian and which ones are or can be made vegan. Sometimes I was not sure if something contained eggs or dairy in it. The staff was hospitable and helpful with pointing out the fully vegan dishes.

I had a delicious soup Tom Yum Rice noodle soup. #22 on the menu. Just the right amount of spice. So delicious and yummy. And Grilled “Beef” on a stick was very tasty too.

I was surprised at how the tofu closely emulated the taste of grilled beef and chicken. Definitely a place to try especially if you enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. If you’re vegan, watch out for some of the dishes like the one with the vegetarian spring roll (pretty sure there is egg in it).
