Bacon in my quesadilla - Edit
I’d give zero stars if I could. I REALLY wanted to like this place. I really did. SMH
Read moreI ordered the VEGAN veggie quesadilla and VEGAN nachos. Myself and the owner (I assume) had an entire conversation about veganism, so I believed I was in good hands.
After getting in the car, I took a bit of my quesadilla and tasted BACON. I spit it out and examined it. In disbelief, I searched the rest of the entre and didn’t find another piece. I have the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was vegan bacon, then kept eating. In the middle of my quesadilla, I found YET ANOTHER piece of PIG in my food. I examined it then called them up.
I asked if they served bacon. The owner said yes. I explained what happened then asked if they served vegan BACON. She said yes then asked her husband if the supposed vegan bacon got in my food. Her husband said yes, the vegan bacon got into the vegetables because he was CHOPPING THEM BEAR TGE VEGAN BACON...? I then asked what brand the bacon was. She did she got it at ALDI and it was Lightlife. She gave me some pleasantries then rushed me off the phone.
After a quick google search, I realized that ALDI doesn’t sell vegan bacon, not does Lightlife remotely taste like or have the texture of real bacon. I called back and asked for a refund. She took my entire card number and said she’d process a refund for the quesadilla.
Not only did they lie about having vegan bacon (it’s not on the menu nor did she give me that option when I called and asked for their vegan options) they didn’t own up to making a mistake then LIED about how the vegan bacon got in my food. SMH
What if my children were eating with me?
What if I was less cautious and just totally consumed the bacon?
I’m sick and I’m filing a complaint.

Small and nice restaurant with great veg options - Edit
Food was really tasty. People were very friendly. I tried veggie bake and it was yummy. I also tried mango smoothie, it’s not like Indian mango flavor but still it tastes good. People who love tangy taste can try this mango drink.

- Kids friendly place. I see lot of families coming here.
Service was little slow but only one lady was helping. But over all I loved the place.
It would be awesome if they served the food in a real plate. They were using paper plates, I had difficulties in cutting, and plate was fully occupied.
Pros: Lots of vegetarian varieties.
Cons: Serving plate was paper. Difficult to eat.

very vegan friendly and yummy - Edit
This restaurant is amazing. The owners are Vegan and they have several vegan options. They have something for everyone no matter if they are vegan, vegetarian or an omnivore. I highly recommend it!

Cons: it is small, but they have sidewalk seating which , there is also some seating outside behind the rest
