call before you go - closed when we got there - Edit
This restaurant was hard to find when we visited Venice as there was no signage outside as pictured. Even though we visited on a Wednesday afternoon the restaurant was closed (once we finally found it). I would recommend to call before you visit in case it is closed as we walked a long while through Venice to get some good vegan food!

Beautiful experience - Edit
At a quiet square, the little restaurant had a cozy unassuming atmosphere and old blues playing. There was genuine pride and enthusiasm about the dishes - a good sign. The ingredients were good and the food prepared with care, creativity and sensitivity. The staff that first seemed reserved were happy to discuss when I showed interest.

Wonderful! Great way to begin my adventure in Venice! - Edit
I had the antipasto which was a selection including empanada, almond stuffed baked onion, Thai spring roll, quinoa and vegetable meat ball and hummus. It was all good but the onion was the best
Read moreThen I had the Primo Piatto, eggplant with interesting flavorings and I think some kind of vegan cheese but it was subtle. It was extraordinarily good.
And I couldn’t decide between the vegan chocolate cake and the vegan tiramisu and the vegetarian tiramisu so I tried all three. They were all good. The owner was thrilled And thought it was hilarious because nobody had ever ordered three desserts before. She gave me some organic mint tea to have with the leftovers in the morning
The organic Cabernet wine was superb
They are closed on Sunday and Monday but I will be back on Tuesday. I will definitely get the Cabernet, The onion, and explore the specials of the day
Pros: Sweet little place in a quiet square, The food was all organic , Everything is homemade and unique
Cons: Italian food tends to have a lot of olive oil

Never again - Edit
We ate here with 2 persons (1 with gluten allergy, 1 with orange allergy). After consulting the card and checking with the people of the restaurant we ordered some safe choices (glutenfree was even on the menu). The person with gluten allergy got a dish with some toast in it. After talking to the waiter he removed the bread and thought it would be enough, never heard of contamination. The person with orange allergy got a dish with orange in it, we had to send that back too. The side salad never came. Never again.

Total rip off added to bill- don’t waste your time - Edit
Really, really upset that my first meal in Venice was at this place. I’m a lone female traveller and was really ripped off/taken advantage of here.
Read moreAn antipasti was added to my bill that I ate thinking it was my main meal. I raised this and they still insisted on overcharging me. The male manager was a bully who made everything feel as if it’s my fault. It wasn’t. In the end after trying to reason with them I thought just pay the extra €6 and leave. Wanted to leave this review so others (especially lone travellers) can be on their guard with this one. It was a total rip off and really, really upsetting situation when you’re torn down by staff like that and I would hate to think anyone was ripped off for more. Put a dampener on my meal and was a horrible ‘welcome’ to Venice.
Only put stars there because Happy Cow isn’t letting me proceed otherwise!
Pros: It has good. But will you pay what you think?
Cons: Rotten staff, especially manager, Ripped me off, Don’t dine here

Amazing - Edit
It took me two tries to get a seat at this restaurant, so the first lesson is try to show up early. By my count there are five full-sized tables capable of sitting up to four people each, and another six small-sized tables that can seat two. So it’s a small place.

Tiny but cosy vegetarian restaurant - Edit
Tiny but cosy vegetarian restaurant in a backward campo, they offer a good range of vegan dishes. I tried a selection of their vegan appetisers, followed by a rich vegan Greek salad with homemade vegan cheese.

Great cannelloni but ok salad - Edit
I went there with a friend of mine and was pleasantly surprised with how many vegan options they have.
Read moreMy friend ordered the veggie cannelloni and said they were (and looked) spectacular.
I got the vegan Greek salad and it wasn’t great. Not many dried tomatoes nor vegan cheese and the taste was ok but not impressive.
The prices are a bit high but they make everything and the quality of the vegetables is high, so it’s worth it.
The location is quiet and really beautiful.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Friendly staff

Tasty, Bit Expensive - Edit
I quite enjoyed this place despite the portion being rather small and the prices a little expensive. The nice and cozy atmosphere together with the great food presentation made up for this.

Great italian food - Edit
We were looking for an italian restaurant with decent vegan options. This restaurant was exactly what we expected. We shared the big starter plate then got one first dish (vegan parm for me, canelloni for my boyfriend - not vegan) with side dishes (zucchini for me, cabbage for him). Everything was really good and refined. My eggplants had a very pleasant melting texture. We both had a crush for the stuffed onion from the starter plate (I wish I knew their secret). It was very hot when we went but the outdoor terrace is very nice and calm.
