Good food

There are a few vegan choices and I chose the curry which was delicious and spicy. There is a pub adjacent to the restaurant, we enjoyed the drinks and Irish music.

Handful of Vegan Options

The menu is clearly labeled with vegan options. My partner and I split the cauliflower steak and chickpea and zucchini fritters and they were delicious!

Pros: Clearly labeled, Flavorful

Authentic Irish Pub

Vegan options on the menu, knowledgeable staff, possibility to also veganize items on the menu that were not inherently vegan, e.g. the fries.

Pros: Irish atmosphere , Delicious food

Cons: A bit loud

Multiple vegan options

It's rare to find a restaurant on the west coast of Ireland with any vegan options, let alone multiple. We had the aubergine fritters and cauliflower steak which were both excellent. Staff is also very kind and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended when in Doolin.

Tour Lunch Stop

Bus tour to Cliffs of Moher stopped here for lunch (not included lol) and we had an extra limited menu to choose from with 2 vegan options. I had the curry and wow. THIS WAS THE BEST CURRY I'VE EVER HAD. Hands down. Cannot believe it. I don't know how they prepared the rice but it was absolutely delicious. One of the best meals I had on a 2 week trip. Foods came out fast and hot.

Pros: cute pub, delicious curry

Cons: limited options

Great burger!

Only 2 vegan options on their menu but clearly labelled. A vegan burger (made with an impossible type patty) and really really good and cauliflower bites (they were ok). Staff were lovely and the venu was really nice. I'd go back just for the great burger. (There's also not many options in Doolin)

Incredible! Don’t miss it!

Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Ask for a vegan menu. The options aren’t reflected accurately on the menu because they change apparently. We had the chickpea/beetroot burger, the wild mushroom risotto, and a side of parsnips and green beans. Extremely fresh veg as always in Ireland. We couldn’t stop eating each other’s foods! They were so good! Great list of non alcoholic drink options, too, including wine, beer, cider, and gin- all with zero alcohol. Great option for a warm, hearty meal after visiting the Cliffs of Moher.

Wonderful vegan food

Like some other reviewers said, the options are limited for vegans but they are really delicious and more inspired choices than you usually find at non vegan restaurants. We had the beetroot burger which was one of my favorite burgers ever and a vegan side and small plate. If you are a vegetarian you would have a few more options. Also, I was not prepared for how totally lovely the dining area is.

Pros: Not super pricey , Interesting options, Vegetarians would have a wider range of options

Cons: No vegan dessert (at this time)

Few options, but good

They options aren't many, but the ones that have are good. We tried the beetroot and lentil burguer and the amaretti lasagna starter. The starter is sweet and nice, and the burguer is big and tasty. Overall impressed for the location we are. They have as well a vegetarian gnocchi but we

Pros: Some vegan options, Tasty food

Enjoyed a delicious Vegan Chickpea Green Curry and Chocolate Desert with Vegan Icecream. Really friendly staff. Not a huge selection but at least they had something.

Pros: Nice Pints

Cons: Expensive, Small Portions

Surprise! It’s really delicious!

I must admit, from the lower stars I was a bit hesitant to come here, but I am SO GLAD I did. First off the vegan and vegetarian foods were SO DELICIOUS! The carrot-parsnip-ginger soup with black bread was so delicious I wanted to swim in it. The soup/bread combo was happy to the mouth. My hubby had the veggie cheeseburger and chips which were very delicious and I had a huge yummy salad beetroot combo which I savored every bite of.
The atmosphere is lovely. Nothing fancy but a lot of locals and we were lucky enough to be treated to an older folksinger and his guitar doing fantastic covers. A completely delicious evening on all occasions. If happy cow allowed 5 star reviews for restaurants not entirely vegan or vegetarian, I would have given it 5 STARS. Go there!

Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Dessert

nice and big portion, pasta without cheese

There was about 7 options, few vegetarian. Got lentilpasta without cheese, so vegan option possible. Nothing special, simple nice pasta, but i was excited to got a vegan meal in this small town.

OK in a pinch

This place (and its neighboring establishments, which are owned by the same people) seem to exist for the purpose of capitalizing on the tour bus traffic. There was one vegan dish at lunch (pasta), which was pretty plain, but it filled the void in the stomach. The options at dinner time might be a bit better.

Vegan Options!

Had a great experience here (April 2016). One of the few places in the entire country that had items marked Vegan. In fact, they had several 100% vegan options and were really interested in our feedback. By far, the most vegan friendly place in a town where the "progressive" coffee shop/hostel couldn't even do a cheese less pizza. Great food and good options!

No vegan options

My partner and I dropped by at Fitzpatrick's Bar today. There was a carvery menu with one vegetarian main and a vegetable soup, both of which contained dairy. We asked the chef if there were vegan options and he said that there were not - the chef was sympathetic but unable to offer us a meal. Even the roasted vegetables contained butter.

Luckily we managed to find a yummy vegan dish at Gus O'Connor's pub, which has a vegetarian dish of the day (unfortunately I imagine it may not always be veganizable). In Doolin, there was a café that said 'vegetarian options' on its sign, but it was closed so we didn't get to check them out. All in all, vegans might do best to bring a packed lunch to Doolin!

Pros: Knew what vegan meant

Cons: No vegan options, Menu centred around meat
