Also has prepared foods. Some are way too spicy like the papaya salad!... several items for sale in back of the dining area. four tables. Nice young girls and mother.

Small, local vegan place with lots of options to choose from. Food is in trays & you choose the food you'd like with rice. Also do noodles & soup & different mock meats

Typical Thai vegan food - Edit
After checking out two other Jay restaurants in the town, this seems to be where it’s at. By the side of a busy road, this eatery is popular. There are a few small tables with seats inside and this place is also a shop with vegan snacks, drinks and other ingredients you can pick up. Venue developed somewhat from the old reviews here, but the shabby appearance is not without its charms and is kept clean and is well looked after.
Read moreThe food is buffet style with a fair variety of the usual Thai dishes plus some mock meats. No English spoken, staff are really nice.
As is typical for this style, food is often over cooked and or oily, but there are health conscious options. There was a delicious fermented tofu and noodle soup and a very tasty curry, worth the visit just to try the soup. The fake meats are also really tasty.
Happy to recommend if you like this style of cuisine or are just looking for a quick and cheap Thai meal. Would usually rate this kind of experience 2 stars, however some of the dishes here are above par and with the shop the experience feels like more.
Pros: A good variety of vegan dishes, Very tasty soup and curry, Cheap
Cons: Limited seating , Nothing fresh no desserts etc, On a roadside

Lots of fake meat - Edit
Good if you like fake meat. Only a couple dishes without it. Wasn't great but wasn't horrible.

Tasty - Edit
I ate here 5 days in a row and is my go to place for cooked vegan food in Chanthaburi. The food is authentic Thai food but also uses soy bean products to replace meat, creating a more diverse variety of flavours and textures, outside the typical thai cuisine. The place is small but never overcrowding. Meow is friendly and keen to learn english from any foreigners. I became a semi regular so she asked her lovely next door neighbour to help with translation. Though Meows english is minimal she is willing to help with any information and advice on the local area.
