No vegan cakes today - Edit
Admittedly this review is from a month or so ago as I didn't see the point in adding the venue when my sole purpose of meeting there was a fail.
Read moreI'm local to the venue and organised meeting a chum for morning coffee and cake here instead of the cafe at Hazlehead Park. You sure they do vegan cakes? Aye ye they must as they have vegan savoury type offerings and clearly mark items as vegan. Well sadly not on the day I visited.
The owners spoke to me and did say they normally have a vegan cake (lemon drizzle the day before had just been thrown out) as they wish to be all inclusive but the vegan cakes don't sell well. They did bring out some vegan samplers I could buy, packaged raw type bar that was two bites at most so declined as I was after a cake.
Don't get me wrong they tried to be helpful. They did say I should come and try some of the savory type dishes but so far I've not been back. Nice to know a fellow vegan had a more fruitful experience.

Very nice soup - Edit
I stumbled upon Figment while I was on a work trip in Aberdeen. It was cold outside and I wanted to get soup. Luckily, their soup of the day (pumpkin-apple) was vegan and it was delicious. Exactly what I needed.
