I was looking for vegan options at the Feng Chia Night Market and stumbled upon this little gem. The texture is just right: crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. All of their green onion pancake flavored powders are vegan except for the cheese one. If you're a purist, get the original one without any flavorings. The only flavor I've tried so far was the wasabi one, and it had a bit of sinus-clearing power. Remember to bring your own container and utensils to avoid having them use disposable takeaway bags and skewers. If you're sharing with a friend, know that the quarter and half sheet orders can only be placed into a single container or bag, and the full sheet can be split into up to two containers or bags. They cut the sheets up into bite-sized pieces, so you probably need a utensil to eat it unless you're okay with having greasy fingers.
