Serves meat, vegan options available. Mediterranean restaurant offering vegan split pea puree with pita, stuffed grape leaves and a broad bean with artichoke dish.
Like all greek restaurants there are plenty of vegan choises - Edit
Even if there is no indication on the menù regarding the vegan and vegetarian choises, you can find plenty of vegan dishes. For example, Fava, Horta, Cabbage and carrot salad, vine leaves, Gemista, giant beans, as in all others greek tavernas. However, there is no particular attention to cruelty free food. Indeed they serve a lot of meet (also lamb and veal) and fish, like all other tavernas. Location is nice.
Friendly staff, nice starters and drinks. They knew what we meant when I mentioned vegan. They suggested a few options, which has been rare in Sitia (and Crete to be honest) so far.
