wish there were more organic options - Edit
One of the larger local Farmer's Markets. It has a few more vendors who sell items like photography, art, plants/herbs and jewelry. It's located in Downtown Claremont, which is a nice and scenic college community with big trees, a park, and older houses. There are a few cafes around the block from the Farmers Market with vegan cookies, cakes, muffins, and meals. It's a nice way to spend a Sunday morning.
Read moreThey have a section that's clearly marked with organic produce. It's not very big, but it's there. There's a man who sells fresh apple juice and orange juice that you have to try. There's also a vendor who sells some good Greek vegan items that are worth going back for.
We usually go to the farmer's market, stop by a cafe on the way out to pick up a cookie, and then walk around the shops in the area. They have a lot of unique stores, some vegan/gluten free grocery stores (EcoTerra and Stella Luna), and a movie theater that sells Eddie's vegan cookies. I'd recommend checking out the area after going to the Farmer's Market.
Pros: the area is nice, lots of produce, more vendors
