Serves meat, vegan options available. Set on the main route connecting London to the Suffolk Coast and beyond. Has locally sourced ingredients, gluten free and vegetarian choices on the menu. In 2017, was bought by a vegetarian, and so has a separate vegan menu with dishes suitable for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. Also has 3 vegan milks available for tea and coffee and at least one vegan cake choice every day. The shop also stocks vegan snacks and a range of ready meals made in the cafe kitchens, which includes vegan dishes such as coconut & vegetable curry and a range of vegan vegetable soups. Open Mon-Sat 06:00-15:00, Sun 07:00-15:00. Closed Sun.

Great savoury options - Edit
I had a delicious meal of bangers and mash with an oat milk coffee. The staff were really friendly. Sadly they didn't have vegan cake but it sounded like they normally try to stock a vegan option.

Great service but… - Edit
This is a lovely cafe and the staff are very good. The issue for us is the high cost of he vegan options. Yet again vegans who eat low cost vegetable-based meals get charged the same or more as/than he meat options. It’s just not on and too many restaurants and cafes do this. Meat should be the expensive luxury and diners should be encouraged by the hospitality industry to eat less meat and dairy. Please make vegan options better value.

Very yummy vegan options! - Edit
Food was lovely and so nice to have quite a few vegan options. I opted for the jackfruit burger and it was delicious with lots of chips and different salads on the side! I will definitely be back to try the cake but this time around I had no room. Would recommend!

Good vegan breakfast - Edit
The ladies here are very accommodating, once I mentioned I was vegan they couldn’t have been nicer. They made sure no butter on the toast, and gave me extra mushrooms and tomatoes. It would be good if they had a vegan sausage as then it would also cater for veggies, hence I omitted 1 star.
