How cool that it’s becoming more and more common for pizza places to offer vegan cheese? So I can choose whichever one has shorter delivery times / better deals on Menulog. Last night it was Farina 00 in Northcote. Their menu lists 4 thoughtful vegan options. I choose “Da Meaty” which had a pesto base with mushrooms - simple but super tasty and quite garlicky. We also got the “Vegan Delight” which had a garlic base with potato, fresh tomato, broccolini, and a light sprinkle of zaatar. The creamy potato contrasted with the fresh tomato, crisp cooked broccolini and aromatic, zesty zaatar worked really well. They weren’t overloaded with toppings, so you could taste all the flavours, but they were still substantial. I’d say a regular pizza (around $20) is enough for one hungry person or two with a side salad. Would order again!
