Delicious food, great service! - Edit
We had a great time eating here with our kids. Food was delicious and staff super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a "surprise"-selection and one of each desert and every mezze (small sharing dish) was as nice as the last one. If you go definitely don't skip the orange coconut cake!!! Always a big big plus when all food is 100% vegan!

Inmiddels heb ik al 2 keer hier gegeten en dat blijft een feest om te doen. De shiitakes zijn mijn favorieten (moet je proeven), maar ook alle andere gerechten waren heerlijk. Omdat het kleine porties zijn kun je veel verschillends eten.

Delicious and unique food, small place - Edit
Had made a reservation, and that was absolutely necessary, bc the place was full. It's a really small place, with only a couple of seating places.

As we were a bit pressed for time, we only ordered 5 tapas. Although if we visit again, I would order like 3 or 4 dishes per person.
The tapas came nearly immediately (we had let them know whe wanted to leave early) so thanks for that! All was delcious.
Not really comfortable (combination of benches and chairs - my chair was leaning to one side), and the small toilet (access via their storage room) was also a bit shabby (and no sink/tap to wash ones hands - there was a sign one could go to the kitchen for washing ones hands, or use the desinfectant gell). So that could be improved upon.
Very original and delicious food! And very cheap! And very friendly.

Good food, but service improvements needed - Edit
- Food: the food is tapas style and very tasty! Some items with new and interesting flavor combinations, some more classic, but everything tastes great! You can tell that everything is self made and authentic.
Read more- Drinks: I really liked the special drinks like ginger juice and authentic green tea.
- Atmosphere/experience: the restaurant is very small, but nicely decorated. Everything is a bit tight, so it is definitely not the right place if you want to have a relaxed conversation during dinner. The service still needs some improvement, we definitely would have ordered more if someone had checked on us occasionally. The food came out with 10-15 minutes in between (at least for our table, did not seem like that for other tables), which was a bit unfortunate.
- Price: we paid ~50€ for 10 items including drinks, but you might want to order more if you really want to be full.

Simple but amazing! - Edit
After not seeing any reviews or menu we decided to give this place a go for our dinner. It turned out to be the best decision we made during our vacation yet!
Read moreIt's a tiny living room like restaurant which accommodates roughly 20 people max. The owners (who were also the cooks and the servers) were an absolute blessing and exceptionally kind and warm-hearted. Just their positive attitude is enough reason to visit this restaurant!
The food itself just had a wow-factor. Due to it being something simple, like baked potatoes, fried rice or cooked beans, it was served extremely quickly. Even though it was simple, it tasted like nothing you would expect. Each Mezze, most based on Family recipes from Gambia, had a unique taste which was powerful and savoury. Thee simplicity of the base foods with the amazing spice mixture really gave it that extra oomph, and it was a magcial experience every time. The portion sizes were just right, and you would feel full after three or four individual Mezzes.
The home-made drinks (also based on Gambian family recipes) felt like the right spice mixture to make an otherworldly experience. The desserts had a subtle but also strong taste of coconut, which they did not manage to overwhelm the other ingredients with.
While it did occasionally take some time to serve us, which is to be expected at the fairly new start of a restaurant, it was well worth the wait and we never felt like we were forgotten. Reservations can be done through their instagram account or through their phone number on whatsapp! We spent about 60 euros for the both of us, which is an amazing price:quality ratio in our opinion!
We look forward to coming here again in the near future (and try out their lunch menu) and we can only imagine what this place will grow out into once they get more public awareness and experience!
