A Hidden Treasure - Edit
We came here on vacation and now I have a new favourite vegan pizza! They're located inside a taphouse so there's drinks and entertainment. The incredible housemade cashew cheese is swirled onto their pizzas, a number of which can be made vegan. Even better are their garlic fingers with a sauce I would buy in a bucket. I'm planning my new trip to PEI just to get it again! The staff were also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the options!

Yay for vegan pizza - Edit
It was very nice to have a place to stop and grab a bite to eat while in what felt like, the middle of no where. The pizza was pretty good, but note that the vegan cheese is not a true cheese, it is a sauce they squeeze on top, as seen in photos. Still good though. The reason for 3 stars instead of 4 is that, Famous Peppers is located in a brewery with a small shared kitchen of 3 different place/food menus. The staff knew little to nothing about making a pizza vegan and couldn’t answer our questions. Like any worker on duty at all. Staff knowledge is obviously very important when ordering vegan or it makes things sketchy and leaves you worrying when you receive your food. I made them call the manager even though at first they said they couldn’t. Anyways, their garlic sauce IS vegan. You can swap out vegan cheese and vegan crumble. They have a wrap around patio and a large open dining room.

Vegan options - Edit
They have a Vegan Pizza listed as well as a Vegan Garlic Fingers. The pizza was loaded with veggies and was delicious. The Garlic Fingers were amazing as well. Both were made with their cashew cheese!
