Vegan Chinese pastries!

Can’t believe I just find out about this spot. I picked up almost one of every vegan pastry. I have missed my Chinese baos since going vegan and I get to have my childhood sweets again! And birthday cakes too that have to be pre-ordered. Chinese pastries are much lighter and not as sweet and sugary as other pastries. They also have cheesecake and cupcake treats in a cup all made on-site.

Chinese style sweets

Short walk from chamblee marta. They're in a Chinese themed plaza marked at Atlanta's chinatown.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Inexpensive, very friendly, Vegans options are labeled

Good food great service!

Delicious vegan delights touted by the nicest proprietor you will ever meet. I have been looking for a good red bean treat since before becoming vegan and am very happy to have tasted theirs. Definitely worth a trip.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Vegan gem

The 2 storefronts are connected inside, on the right you can order beautiful cakes which can be made vegan. On the left they have pastries, coffee and a few tables for sitting. Micheal was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about different types of vegan diets.
He says they generally have more vegan options on the weekend, I stopped in on a weeknight. The pastries were delicious, not overly sweet like vegan baked goods tend to be.
I will definitely be back when I need a cake.

My very own Vegan section

I love that everything was clearly labeled. There were so many options that it was hard to choose, but we got some doughnuts, cinnamon buns, and butter cream cakes. It was all very delicious and cheap!

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan options, Cheap

Great vegan options

As a vegan, this place was amazing. And the guy behind the counter was extremely helpful in explaining what my options were.
Their vegan fridge had been cleaned out of everything but their cashew cheese cake, but they had plenty of vegan buns and pastries to choose from.
In order of importance (though not certain about the names):
HK bun - No fancy filling. Just a plain bun. My favorite.
Cinnamon roll donut - Cinnamon rolled in and found throughout. As a fan of cinnamon, it was awesome.
Red bean bun - Had red bean ice cream a couple times, but this tasted exactly like a PB&J sandwich. I loved it.
Cashew cheese cake - Not overly impressive at first, but very good the whole way through.
Taro bun - Good, but my least favorite of the bunch
Probably for the best that this place is far from my home, but if I'm in the neighborhood again, I'll be making a point of stopping by.
Also, for what it's worth, their birthday cakes (which apparently can be made vegan) and other decorative desserts were impressively beautiful.
