Do not come here

This place is ridiculously expensive, and the quality of the food it’s just not it. There’s one labeled vegan dish and it’s not even worth it. I’d go somewhere else.

Okay

This is one of the places I could find with vegan options that did fado. Their menu says “vegan and vegetarian” but they don’t actually have a vegan option (I thought it was the pasta but waitress told me it had egg in it). So I had to get the mushrooms (vegetarian option) with no cheese. It was very delicious but kind of expensive (22€). The hummus and olives was good too. The performance was really good too and the local is very nice. Friendly staff too

Pros: food was good , friendly staff , nice atmosphere

Cons: expensive, not really a vegan option

Come for the music, not the food

The complete fado experience requires dinner, or so I’m told. So if you’re vegan and want to go to a fado place, they better have something on the menu for you to eat. This place offers at least one vegan dish off the menu, and although more options would be nice, you’ll be able to experience fado the way it’s intended. Just remember to stop eating during the performance!
