Affordable Vegan Food - Edit
Falafel Inc. offers affordable vegan fare in the heart of the city. I ordered the Falafel Bowl. The sauces were great, the falafel crunched around the edges and melted in your mouth, and the red cabbage added a nice balance of veggies. I also appreciated the healthier option after seeing nothing but Beyond Burgers on other menus. Check this place out if you’re bopping around the Harbor, seeing a Nationals game, or Museum hopping.

The best - Edit
Stayed in the area for a month and ate a falafel sandwich here almost every day. Delicious, fast, and affordable. And the staff are very nice.

Good and quick - Edit
Incredibly quick (probably because they only have like 4 menu options) and tastes great. Love the simplicity of just saying I want a bowl with hummus and not having to run down a line with options.

$5 falafel? C’mon - Edit
This has got to be one of the most inexpensive meals in DC. Yet, they somehow manage to donate proceeds to refugees ❤️ It’s not like Amsterdam Falafel (RIP) where you get a buffet of salads to add to your pita, but where Falafel Inc shines is with a buffet of sauces. Everything is plant-based here except for three of the six sauces. It’s awesome that they added the Shawarma to the menu. The sandwich has polarized people a bit, but I think the difference tends to fall on lines of whether people are into plant-based meat or whole foods. Frankly, I think the Shawarma is rich and full of flavor; I love getting it. Given that The Wharf doesn’t yet have a dazzling array of veg meals, Falafel Inc is an easy option when in the vicinity.
Read morePros: Cheapest meal in DC?, Falafel or plant based shawarma, Add your own sauces
Cons: No indoor seating but there are tables outside, Next to the seafood wet market : ( , At the end of the Wharf, so it can be a walk

Vegan Shawarma on the wharf - Edit
The vegan Shawarma was delicious! I’ve never had Shawarma before so I can’t compare but it was nice to try something new. Very affordable too! A falafel sandwich is only $5! Order and enjoy on the wharf.

Wow - Edit
Everything I tried (except the extra pita) was top notch. Really amazing falafel. The prices will forever make me sad when I get good vegan food elsewhere. $4 for a falafel sandwich is amazing ❤️

Tasty and Cheap! - Edit
My partner and I were passing through DC, doing the tourist thing, and stumbled on this small restaurant at the wharf. It was exactly what we were looking for: cheap falafel. We both had falafel bowls, which were $4 each. Great price and very nice food, with lots of sauce options. This location does takeaway with standing table options outside, which is wonderful if you have nice weather. The restaurant was packed with people waiting for their orders and waiting to place an order. There were only two people on staff so it did take a bit of time to get our food. That being said, I definitely recommend it.

Options in DC were really lacking, but you can always count on falafel. Not the best I’ve bad (considering I come from the middle east) but it’s a good and cheap option!

The vegan shawarmas is AMAZING. I can’t stress enough how much I want to eat the vegan shawarma pita 🥙 every day. The prices are excellent, especially for the area. Service is good. Food is perfect for a quick bite while walking around DC.

So Cheap, so delicious - Edit
It's $4 for a falafel salad, and it's a legitimate portion size. $3 for the falafel pita. How is this profitable? Idk, but I won't complain. The falafels are seasoned to perfection and the salad is quite good. You may not be able to find a better falafel in DC, and you certainly won't find a better price. This place is bomb!

Fresh falafel made from scratch at an extremely reasonable price. Parking is scarce but the ambiance of the Warf makes it worth the trip.

Good falafel - Edit
We had a very good falafel sandwich, and a generous side order of fries. The place is essentially take-out only. There is a counter to stand by, and it is possible to eat there, but it is limited. There is plenty of outdoor seating nearby, some with water views.
