A rainbow of delicious food - Edit
Absolutely loved our meal. Would give 5 stars if it was all-veg. After not eating enough while at the park all day, we were suuuuper-hungry. We were able to get off the bus right at Falafel Bar. My hungry family of 3 shared 2 falafel platters, a smoothie, and a beer for the grownups, and we left stuffed. You get to pile on the veggies yourself from the salad bar. Total winner for the whole fam. 100% recommend, and we might go back tomorrow.

5 Stars if HappyCow Allowed It - Edit
Likely the best falafel in Costa Rica, the Falafel Bar’s pricing and portion sizes for amazing, flavorful means can’t be beat. 100% would rate it 5 stars if Happy Cow allowed it, this place has great vegan and vegetarian options, including desserts. The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere and outdoor seating is relaxed yet well designed, and the prices are very good for this tourist-filled section of Costa Rica.

Good falafel - Edit
Sadly this opened up right at the end of my stint working with the sloths in Tulemar, but if it was open earlier I probably would have eaten there at least twice a week😄

The food was amazing and the portion size is big. I would definitely come back and recommend the place to anyone stopping in Manuel Antonio. This place is also a perfection option if you are travelling with non-vegan people.

This place deserves all the praise it gets - Edit
I like falafel, but it's not usually my first choice when I eat out. However, we wanted something that would be ready quickly, so we came here. Our falafel plate was ready in minutes. We added to it a variety of fresh toppings, pickles, and salsas from the salad bar. Everything on the plate was super tasty: the pita, the falafel balls, the hummus, the locally-made chili sauce and tahini, the pickles, and even the chips. And the price was decent for this expensive area. One $10 plate fed the two of us. Yup. Definitely recommend this place!

Incredible and fresh falafel - Edit
Clearly labeled vegan options. Definitely get the falafel sandwich over the falafel plate because the pita comes pre cut and is stuffed with hummus and falafel. There’s a condiments bar that you can add your own toppings- pickled onions, beets, carrots, lettuce etc. Really good. Plus they have great rum drinks too

Nice salad bar - Edit
This is a cute little place with covered outdoor seating. The falafel is good and the self-service salad bar with the fixings has great options. They have free ice water. There are Macaws nesting in a tree right behind the restaurant so it is fun to see them flying around.

Amazing falafel - Edit
This place is great! Vegan options are clearly marked in the menu, food is delicious, amazing space with a salad bar to fill up your sandwich or complement your platter. It's definitely very touristy, prices are in USD and staff speaks English. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for some good vegan food and not for something more local.

Lifesaver - Edit
Do not hesitate to go and eat there! The food is consistently amazing (I went there 4 times in 10 days), the side salads are fresh, the juices are delicious (try the mango and the mint-pineapple), the falafels are authentic and flavourful. The Falafel platter is a fantastic vegan and gluten-free option (and truly gluten-free!). Also, the covid processes in place made me feel super safe. All in all, a great experience! I would give it 5-stars if I could.

Absolute 5 Stars - Edit
I think HappyCow should change the 5 star rating only for vegan restaurants. This place was absolutely remarkable with clearly labeled vegan items on the menu. I’m a huge fan of falafel and this May be some of the best I’ve ever had (haven’t been to the Middle East yet). The salad bar really makes this place great. You can load your plate up with tons of veggies and sauces and it really makes a difference. All in all, I would give 5 stars if possible.

Best Food We Had In Manuel Antonio - Edit
They do serve meat, but the Falafel pita sandwich was so delicious and exactly what was needed after a full day in the park! The salad bar is available for you to stuff your pita exactly the way you want, which I loved! And the Tahini is made in house! The French fries were more like chips which were delicious, but I was really craving fries.
