great local food

Delicious food, good portion sizes (I couldn't finish my dish it was so much), free clear soup (with the fried rice at least) and free hot tea with every meal. The food was cheap and was prepared so quick, menu in English and with pictures, the staff spoke good english! :)

Pros: cheap good options made the food very fast

Simple, delicious, great value

$US1.75 for a plate of stir-fried noodles with vegetables. This no-frills little restaurant is simple, delicious and great value. If you're vegetarian or vegan & looking for a quick lunch or dinner in Phnom Penh definitely try Evergreen.

Pros: Great value, Good food

Simple menu, Simply Delicious

Nice small, cool shop, easy to walk right past it. Had noodles, very tasty. Portions are on the smaller side, but they make it so fast, you can easily order more things as needed.

Pros: Hot tea included with order

Cons: Not really sure what the Faux seafood is.

Best seitan I've ever had

This was my first meal in Cambodia, and after the meat heavy Philippines I was so happy to see a completely vegetarian menu! I had pork seitan, which was so incredibly tasty and soft. Also had the big noodle soup, which was delicious. I was welcomed with a big pot of green tea all for myself and the staff was super friendly. Must go to for Phnom Penh in my eyes.

Pros: cheap, delicious, central location

Cons: not a whole lot of atmosphere in the restaurant, cash only

Pros: Goedkoop

Cons: Personeel maakt wat onverschillige indruk

Chek your the bill befor payment

We were with my friends (6 people) in this cafe. Good food, but the food is rather mediocre , many choice of vegan food . Cheap, the staff speaks English, the cafe has a pleasant atmosphere, air conditioning. The cost of the dish is around 2 $. when I asked for bill for food they brought us not the correct bill for food, there was indicated a completely different meal which cost more, that is most likely the staff wanted to cheat, i advice you chek your bill before payment.

Pros: chip, good location, a lot of intersested choice

Cons: personal cheating with bill

Became a classic for me

Not expensive for the quality. I usually end up paying 2USD. Free iced tea as in most of khmer restaurant.
Serves khmer, thai and other kind of dishes.
Serves seitan, vegan seafood, vegan meat. Seitan was good, never tested the rest.
Busy at noon.
Friendly place.
The staff speaks a little bit english and the menu has english translation and pictures so no problem to eat fully vegan. Most of the menu is vegan anyway.

Pros: real vegan friendly, Nice staff, good location

Cons: really no cons.

great food & friendly staff

Evergreen is a clean air-conditioned family run vegetarian restaurant with friendly and helpful English speaking staff ... there is a very extensive menu with lots of vegan options and most dishes ranging between US$1.50 - 3.00 ... I had Monday's special rice noodles that were very tasty and cheap (US$1.75) with free tea ... I called in again Tuesday and had a delicious and filling Phat Thai noodle dish (US$2.00) ... too many more visits to list here but every time great food and service ... it's easy to find on Street 130 between Central Market and the riverside

Pros: extensive menu

Cons: it's vegetarian not vegan

This place is a little gem in the middle of phnom penh! The portions are quite good so dont order everything at once. The salad with vegan ham was my favorite i could not stop eating!

Tasty and good value

The food is very tasty, we ate here a few times. First you get a free pot of tea which is very enjoyable. The menu is very clear with pictures that actually look like what they serve you. Beware they do serve eggs, so be sure to specify! The mint fried rice is delicious as well as the fried seitan. Some of the dishes have a sweet flavour in them so be sure to ask if you don't like it. They make their own soy milk fresh every morning, a sweet and a plain variety, 40 cents for half a litre bottle. Dishes around 1,5 to 3-4 dollars. Very friendly staff. I recommend and will probably go back a few times before leaving Phnom Penh .

Pros: Tasty and fresh, Good value , Free tea

Cons: Serve egg

Cheap prices, decent food

Decent menu with wide range of noodle dishes and mock meats. Had a rice noodle soup which was fine, but was more noodle than anything else and was pretty bland overall - would've been nicer with a few more veggies and more herbs & spices. Totally fine, but not worth more than the cheap prices you pay. Maybe better for lunch?

Pros: Cheap, Wide menu, Free tea

Cons: No drinks other than the tea?, Bland & serves egg, Quite small (limited seats)

Okay food, located in a touristy area, cheap

This veggie restaurant is located in the touristy area near the river and it´s practical for those who stay near the river, north from the royal palace.

The food wasn´t anything special here, but it´s cheap and the location is good. The fried noodles were a bit limp. I liked most the noodle soup with wontons, baguette with mock meat (available only about once a week) and the mock meats.

Pros: Okay food, okay prices, Located near the river

Cons: Food is not special

Came here every day of my stay in Phnom Penh

Good if you're close by and on a short trip. Delicious and cheap but certainly don't expect it to be very nutritious.

Good vegan options

To be honest the food is good but not great. Kind of reminds me of cheap Chinese restaurant food back home. But it was good enough considering the options in Phnom Penh that I went back twice! It also helps that they speak good English, and even knew what vegan means. I started to explain that I don't eat eggs and she's like "yeah you're vegan, right? what do you want?"

Pretty affordable. Not huge portions--I have a pretty big appetite and I have to get a main and an appetizer to get full. Probably under $4 for the two though.

Pros: good english, good vegan options, affordable

Cons: small-ish portions

So awesome!

Delicious & cheap, plus very friendly staff.

I went for the Sunday BBQ special, and it was AMAZING.

Free tea, some grilled kebabs on a stick, and it only cost $1.75 US. Amazing!

Pros: No meat, Friendly, Cheap

Cheap, great eats!

A very cheap restaurant (entrees are about $1-$3 on average) and friendly staff who speak great English. Free tea is served alongside your meal, and the menu is all in English as well as in Khmer. Most, if not all, dishes are Cambodian, so don't come here expecting Western food!

Pros: VERY cheap, English-speaking staff and menu, air-conditioned

Little gem

After reading the reviews I was curious about the place. I didn't see the sleeping man, but I did see the woman watching the video's. It turns out to be the owner who was very nice and tried to convince me to start a vegetarian restraunt.

The food was very good and the specials are cheap. Staff is certainly low energy and shy, but certainly kind.

Pros: Price, quality, taste

Cons: Nothing really
