Excellent

We went here for breakfast and tried a mushroom noodle dish (around $2) and the iced coffee with soya milk (around $1.50). Everything was delicious and portion sizes were great.

One of my favourites

Try the Soy Pork & Rice, and if you go on the weekend try the banh mi - really delicious and great value.

Good and cheap local food

If you do not want to spend too much money and eat good local food, this restaurant should be your choice. We ate there a few times during our stay in Phnom Penh. Food is good for the money you pay. They have different soups, noodle and rice dishes, with a lot of mock meats and fish. I am not into those but the seitan is to die for! Some of the dishes of a bit greasy though and they serve a lot of fried foods.

Pros: A lot of vegan options, Cheap, Good

Cons: A bit too greasy, Too many mock meats

Perfect local restaurant for travellers

Looking for a vegan, local and cheap place? Evergreen is for you! You can have lunch for less than 3$ and you won’t be disappointed. I have been there 4 times during my week in Phnom Penh.
Keep in mind that yellow noodles are vegetarian and not vegan. They are made with eggs.

Pros: Tasty , Cheap , Good service

Good food 😊

Had yellow noodles and seitan, tasty but hardly had any seitan in & it had a few vegetables. Still delicious 😋

Nice staff, good service, would definitely return to try more as they have a large menu!

Delicious

Excellent place to come if you’re looking for a meat alternative. The fried pork was particularly delicious, one of the best pork imitations I have eaten and only $1.50.

Pros: Great value, Friendly staff

Disappointed

Ordered the “chicken” nuggets and a noodle dish with a pineapple juice

The noodle dish despite the picture showing lots of fresh colourful vegetables came out as just a plate of rice noodles. There was a few stray shavings of carrot and a few shreds of cabbage. There was no taste at all. It was really disappointing

This pineapple juice was WARM and half of the (small) glass was froth! I’m not quite sure what I paid $2.50 for. It was awful.

This review would have been two stars but the “chicken” nuggets saved it slightly. They weren’t nuggets like you’d expect but they were nice and had some flavour. They were also served with some salad bits which helped make up for the lack of greens in the noodles!

The service was also quite unfriendly. It might be because limited English was spoken but I don’t expect It to be but a smile surely is the same in every country?

Pros: Nice air con

Cons: Lack of vegetables! , Overpriced frothy juice, Service unfriendly

Cheap and yummy

We ordered chicken nuggets and soy pork, and gyoza to share. The gyoza were a little oily but it was all really tasty. The crab soup was great and the yellow noodles very tasty. The complementary tea was hot and delicious. Would go again!!

Impeccable

This place is an oasis. It was spotless and air conditioned. The food was cheap and incredible. I had the steamed rice and veggie pork, and the fried mushrooms. They were excellent. My partner had the gyozas which I also enjoyed. Their exchange rate was fair , which I really appreciated. No inflation, though I only saw foreigners eating there.

Pros: Very affordable., Good portions. , Very clean

Tasty good value for money

It's very cheap with some lovely dishes. It came with free cold/lukewarm chinese tea.

The stand out dish was chicken nuggets, deep fried yummy goodness. The least impressive dish was the fake ribs, stringy meats with a strange mayo flavour and fresh bean sprouts. The daily dish of the day was fresh spring rolls which were refreshing with a lovely not to sweet dipping sauce. I enjoyed the crab soup, while it had a nice texture, it lacked flavour and needed soya sauce.

The fresh watermelon juice was also refreshing.

It was good value for money, 4 dishes and one drink for $13.50

Pros: good value for money, chicken nuggets, very extensive menu with a lot of fiery chilli sau

Cons: squat toilet

Nothing special

Nothing special and a bit expensive.
Not really friendly and fake meat in dumpling noodles soup is not for me...

Pros: Vegetarian

Cons: Bof

Lekker maar niet speciaal

Noodlesoup is redelijk.

Great value for the money

Great variety of mock meats, although the meals were all very greasy. But for the price you cannot complain.

Lots of choice for vegans for small prices!

I loved the dumplings and the mock pork. The prices are great too.

Pros: Lots of vegan option, Delicious mock meat, Great price

Cons: Broth wasn’t super flavourful, Vegan options are not marked on the menu, Plastic chop sticks instead of wooden chop sticks

Novel fake meats, always tasty!

We live in Phnom Penh and are always excited to eat here when we are in the neighborhood. The noodle soup broths are not super flavorful, but they always come with a variety of interesting and delicious textures. And you can season the soup with the condiments at the table, which we often forget about. They have a lot of yummy fake meats that we have never seen in other places. My favorite dish is the Soy Pork - it has the delicious barbecue flavor (and sometimes the crunch) of Chinese roasted pork, but with a great seitan texture. Better than the actual pork from my memories! For $.50 they also have cheap fresh soy milk and aloe juice that isn’t overly sweet. On weekends, the $1 half sandwich is a decent appetizer.

Pros: Large and novel variety of fake meats, Meal from $2-3, Free hot tea

Underwhelming

We must not have ordered the right dishes (one was a noodle soup and the other stir fry noodles), because we found the food a bit bland and underwhelming. The place was packed during lunch time though, which probably explains the slow service. Lots of choices and low prices.

Yes..Do it up!

There's not a whole lot of decent all veggi/vegan places
in Phnom Penh. This one i would not skip. I had a noodle dish with some mock meat and lots of fresh and crunchy toppings! also went for the dumpling soup full of dense,
chewy dumplings with blanched greens and other veggis.
free pot of tea with your order!

Cons: Eggs on request , Can get busy so pick quieter times, None

One of our favourite Phnom Penh veg restaurants

Having lived in Cambodia for 3.5 years we are often in Phnom Penh and always eat here at least once on every visit. Lots of local food and great noodle soups, also seitan available which makes a change from tofu :) many dishes around $2

Tasty and good value

Small restaurant serving Chinese/Khmer food, lots of rice, noodles, tofu, mock meat and veg. A bit sleeker than similar places we've tried, with nice set up and air con.
Pot of hot tea served for free with meals
Nice seitan and rice with a side of veg. Meals are around $3

Pros: Cheap, Good food selection, Free tea

always worth a visit

I've been here so many times the food is always super good, perfect portions and really fair prices (1,50$-2,50$) most of the dishes.
If you're not sure about if it is vegan or not just ask, at least one of the staff members speaks english!

Pros: lots of vegan options
