Delicious vegan thai food

Had amazing pad thai and fried rice with pineapple and tofu. Menu is mostly vegan, and everything is tempting. Fast and polite service, cozy venue.

If we were staying in Bangkok for more than two days we would definitely come back - love this place! Looking forward to my next visit already.

Pros: Menu mostly vegan, Cute venue, Great service

Cons: A little hard to find

Small restaurant hidden in a back ally a little hard to find, but oh, so worth it. Great food and cocktails, fast serving and I am most definitely coming back here.

Pros: All vegan, Fast serving, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Hard to find the right back ally, looks kinda shad

great find

I found Ethos on HappyCow, cos Mango was closed (at 10am). I ordered tempeh salad with peanut dressing. It was HUGE an absolutely delicious. Kombucha was a bit too sweet and weak for me. Very nice setting, you can sit on the ground or table.

Had to leave Review :D

I'm primarily a low fat raw vegan, I've been to Mango and here and they both had the BEST size salads I've ever gotten at a restaurant! Finally! I will say Mango's salad was better and gave more, yet I was happy with Ethos as well. I tasted my beloved's yellow curry and I think it may have been the best Curry I've ever had. SO good!

Pros: Make their own kombucha, tempeh, buns, kombucha vi, Good salad portion., Ambiance. With sit on ground seating options. Yel

Cons: I want more ;)

bad vibes

Ordered simple fried noodles 100B which was ok, had fresh pepper corns but could have been more tasty. A coco pineapple shake 70B, which was good but would have been really good when it would have been cold. The music was too loud, had to ask 3 times till they put it a little down. The music was a mix of African, Spanish, and new age. It was irritating and then became really annoying. We skipped dessert and left the place because of this.
Can't call this a particularly cheap place.

Pros: swift service

Cons: most annoying music, and too loud, overall overrated

Great atmosphere and portions

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. Lovely atmosphere. Follow the directions as listed as it's off the beaten track.
Food was excellent, staff are lovely. Portion sizes were very generous too. Definitely worth a visit.
I particularly liked their ethical declaration in the menu and how easy their menu was to navigate for vegan items.

Pros: Great portion sizes , Fresh and tasty, clearly marked vegan items.

Cons: No aircon

Bangkok's Best

hands down best vegan restaurant in Bangkok! the vegan options are marked in green, vegetarian are in dark red, so theyre very easy to just ignore. though really, probably at least 80% of the huge menu is vegan.

they have massive variety, from western to middle eastern, breakfast to desserts, and of course great thai and other asian meals.

best veggie stir fry i had in 4 months living in thailand, very fresh and good selection of vegetables (broccoli!). best pancakes, made with healthy whole grain ingredients. i love the ability to substitute tofu for the healthier option of tempeh, or simply add tempeh to a meal.

i recommend the blueberry pancakes, blueberry smoothie with coconut cream and the mixed veg stir fry with added tempeh. my arab friend had the falafel plate and was very pleased!
free wifi. the atmosphere is amazing, very relaxed, and the staff do a great job of helping this.

Pros: HUGE menu, great prices, friendly relaxed service, never dissapointed with anything i ordered, great location, just off khoasan.

Cons: you may never want to eat anywhere again :P

The very best vegan food I ever tried

Ive been vegan for 16 years and have never tasted so fantastic food as here before, everywhere else is not comparable to this place, they got a Kombucha menu and all tofu can be replaced with fantastic Tempeh, we been here everyday for a week. You must go here!!!!

Cons: cheap

Average

We decided to try Ethos after the amazing reviews about the place however we were quite underwhelmed by the experience. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely however the food was just average and was very expensive. The soy propaganda was also not appreciated.

Great food and location

Loved this place. Portions were quite generous - if you're not extremely hungry or a huge eater you could easily share a meal. Kombucha was awesome.

Pros: lots of vegan options

Cons: It's not dirt cheap but you can't complain about t

Best pancake

I would've gone back here everyday if we'd stayed for a little longer - at least to have breakfast since they had quite a few good options. I did taste the multigrain pancake though, and it was amazing - highly recommend. But since the portion sizes are pretty huge I couldn't even finish it:((

PANCAKES 🥞

The pancakes are so good. Especially the apple cinnamon ones!
Also the falaffel are really good!
Both are 200TBH which is more pricey than other places around but go there at least once!

Great veg joint near Khao San

Great hippy hangout for tourists staying in the backpacker area. We tried curry, noodles, the gigantic pancake and cocktails - all tasted wonderful and were reasonably priced. Looks like they're catering for tourists but they're doing a good job of it.

Poor

Maybe we were just unlucky. Ordered 2 different burgers for breakfast. Buns were terrible, cold and tasted like clay. Patty dry and tasteless, very little sauces and toppings. We asked for a chili sauce but they didn't have any. Side salad dry and too simple. We ate it just because we were very hungry. They have mango shake in the menu but cannot prepare a simple mango juice.

Cons: Terrible burgers

Best place in Bangkok

We were several times at this place to eat and relax. The ambient is perfect, nice interior, great atmosphere and music.

The food is so good, fresh and diversified. You have to try the falafel and hummous! But thai food is so good, too. Homemade tempeh as well. The drinks are also great. Fresh fruit shakes and juices, kombucha, coffee, tea, everything you need. They have water in glass bottles!

Nice staff, too. Always friendly and english speaking.
Toilet is okay. Wifi fast. Located in a nice and quite area.

Pros: Quiet and relaxing , Awesome food and Drinks , Wifi and near to Khao San Road
