I was so excited to come here and booked a table to have afternoon tea with 3 people. We ordered the afternoon tea and the recommended soup of the day. 45 minutes later we still only had the tea and were absolutely starving. When the soup came out they also said they'd bring the other food straight away, but there was no space on the table so we had the soup first of course and after let the rest of the food come out. We were only told that the soup took so long because it still had to heat up. The food was ok, but not great and the experience was obviously overall quite bad as waiting 45 minutes for the soup of the day, without being informed of the long waiting time in a not at all busy cafe is a bit of a shame.

The ambiance of the tea shop is very cozy and there is a very large choice of tea. A few vegan cakes are also available. I had the chocolate vegan cake and it was nice but not the best I had. However the staff is really friendly.

Extensive tea menu. Of which is loose tea and comes in a tea pot. We had the scones which were so soft and delicious and comes with vegan cream! we would definitely visit again

Many thanks for your review. We do get our cakes & scones in fresh each day and so I'm sorry that at the end of the day we had run out of our vegan treats! We do offer a full vegan & gluten free afternoon tea so I do hope you'll come back and try out our range of cakes, scones and tea.
