Good food / no fair prices - Edit
We thought it was very kind to get a natural water, some bread plus olives und a herbal butter, but we had to pay for it although we did not order it.

In Portugal it is normal for bread, olives etc to be brought to the table and charged for. You need to ask them not to leave it on the table and they will take it away again. I too like Mirela’s Restaurant. Usually at least one veggie dish on the menu.

They have three vegetarian options - and care about food allergies and intolerances like lactose - which is not normal for this small village.
