Serves meat, vegan options available. A pizza restaurant that also has calzones, sides such as vegan chips and wedges and vegan ice cream. Menu differs depending on where you order, e.g. JustEat lists vegan Ben & Jerry's but business website does not. Has one clearly labeled vegan pizza that contains vegan cheese. Other dishes could possibly be made vegan by subbing with vegan cheese so please inquire. Open Mon-Thu 16:00-00:30, Fri 16:00-02:30, Sat 16:00-03:30, Sun 16:00-01:30. Very Disappointing - Edit
We got two vegan specials, I added pineapple and garlic drizzle to my one, and Purp added mixed herbs to their one. We also got wedges, chips and onion rings.
Read moreThe first thing I have to mention is that the garlic drizzle is not vegan. The website did not mention any allergens for this topping (despite listing allergens for other things) so I assumed it was a garlic oil, it isn't, it's more like a garlic mayonnaise so I assume it contains egg. Unfortunately I didn't realise this until it was too late. (I just realised that this sounds like I'm assuming that it isn't vegan, so I want to clarify. It is very difficult to find their menu online, but I managed to find one for their Mullingar branch that lists this free topping as vegetarian, and the rest as vegan. For some reason their menu on their website is tiny and can't be downloaded, and their vegan and vegetarian symbols are very similar so it's difficult to differentiate between them especially when you can't zoom in on the menu when using a mobile browser.)
Despite adding a note requesting any free dips be vegan, they gave us a garlic dip that contained egg. I don't understand why so many pizza places offer vegan pizza, but then include non vegan dip with it. We also got barbeque sauce dip and that was tasty.
The chips were really nice, but had no seasoning so I had to add salt. Not a problem, but if I were staying in a hotel or somewhere where I didn't have salt it would have been annoying as they didn't include any sachets or anything. The onion rings were also very nice.
The wedges were okay, but many of them were burned and tasted bitter.
For some reason they removed the peppers from my pizza. I'm assuming it's because I added pineapple, but I paid €2.50 for the pineapple as it was an extra topping and not a substitute for a different topping. The cheese was tasteless, but that's fine, and it melted nicely. The garlic drizzle was also tasteless, I genuinely couldn't have guessed what it was supposed to be if I hadn't ordered it. The herbs had an overwhelming taste of soap (and I don't taste soap when I eat coriander so I have no idea why they tasted like this). The crust was nice though, very bready and soft.
I wouldn't order from here again due to the soapiness of the herbs, the random choice to remove a topping, the non vegan dip when we specifically requested dips be vegan, and the last of reliable allergens on their website.

Pros: Bready pizza dough, Onion rings were tasty
Cons: Soapy herbs, Removed toppings for no reason, Topping containing eggs didn't show any allergens

A disappointing experience - Edit
Me and GC decided to try out Eskimo pizza in the hope of a better experience than the other pizza places in town....
Read moreWe both got the vegan special (the only vegan option) but I got free mixed herbs on mine and GC got extra pineapple and garlic drizzle.
We also got a portion of onion rings, chips and wedges with dip.
We didn't both get the same base stuff on the pizzas as they didn't give GC the peppers for some reason, even though they charged €2.50 for the pineapple extra topping they seemed to have just swapped it out with the peppers.
For the base i chose thick crust and GC chose regular, the sizes were the same...
Even though I specifically asked for vegan only dips in the notes section when ordering, they gave me a garlic and herb dip clearly labeled as having egg.... At least the dip I ordered with the wedges was bbq and vegan.
The only reason I didn't use just eat is that you can't choose your dip, so I used the website and I'm glad I did as I doubt I would have gotten a vegan one with the wedges otherwise :/
There are no allergens on the website and no info online i could find for the free toppings so the garlic drizzle (which we assumed was a drizzle of garlic oil) wasn't vegan.
The food took over an hour to arrive, and I feel that if I hadn't called them about it it wouldn't have arrived at all. The "real time tracking" on the website just doesn't work at all, it stops updating very quickly.
Finally onto the food taste.
The pizza was only okay, good texture but it tasted very soapy. I'm not sure if it was the herbs they use or the cheese, but it was unexpected and made me doubt if it was vegan especially after the drizzle.
The onion rings were fine and the chips were nice, but the wedges were overcooked.
I wouldn't recommend this place,I wanted to especially because of the special offers but overall it was a massive letdown.
