Wasn’t a fan

I’ve been here twice and both times fell short. First, I found it to be very pricey, so I expect very high quality. I found the items I got to be quite dry and crumbly. I got an eclair and it was nothing like an eclair, to be honest, it was just kind of strange. I also got a donut that had ground coffee beans on it and it was terrible. I like coffee but it was not good. I did really like the chocolate croissant and would go back for that. I did like how they have a large selection. I had high hopes because the good reviews but there are better places for vegan baked goods.

Very pricey

The cookie sandwich tasted fine but the $10 price was a bit much. No prices listed by the baked goods so be careful, especially if you plan to buy multiple items

Perfect desserts

Absolutely lovely pastries. I just wish they had a few washable utensils and plates in case people feel like ‘dining in’. Instead they not have plastic ware and boxes.

Pros: Delicious and perfect pastries.

Cons: No reusable/washable plates or silverware.

Sugary treats

This place offers vegan/gluten free donuts, cookies, and other such treats. Naturally, vegan and gluten-fee does *not* necessary = healthy; and the treats here are quite sugary. There is no place to sit--this is a take-out place. However, if you have a meal at a local vegan place (there are a bunch in the area) and want a sweet dessert after, you can go here and take your donut to a local coffee shop.

My suggestion: be careful not to let your eyes be bigger than your stomach by gorging too much--the pastry here is super sweet; I sense that getting one small donut (perhaps to share) is the best. I got a birthday cake here and had a bit of a sugar overdose.

Pros: Great for those with a sweet tooth

Cons: Takeout only, Not for those on a diet; very sugary

Worth a visit!

Got a birthday cake and it was very delicious, although a very classic gluten-free texture. If you are gf this is probably right up your alley. I would like to go back and see what else I might like. The cake was beautiful ❤️ #Veganuary

Worth a visit

Had been to the Orlando location plenty and wanted to check out the original. Lots of character, helpful staff, and of course great pastries!

Ate here every morning!

I got breakfast from here everyday while I visited NYC. My favorite item was the Crumbcake!

Pros: Gluten free options , Open during breakfast , Not overly sweet

It’s ok

If you’re looking for gluten free/ vegan donuts, you’ll probably enjoy this. I don’t like donuts and thought the cakes were a little too heavy/ dry and not “fluffy” as I typically like them. The cookie was also unimpressive.

Good, wish there were more variety

The bunny cookie was delicious. The cakes look beautiful. I wish they had more diverse options. They had a lot of variety but it felt like alternates on the same couple of things.

Craving their tiramisu 3 hrs later 🤪

So I’m Dairy free, Gluten free and almond free. My partner is soy free. We were SO HAPPY to travel to nyc and got a huge haul of goodies to try. Our favorite was the tiramisu by far! Goodies we tried:

Tiramisu: 12/10, absolute perfection and I already want another. It was kinda ice cream-like and really the perfect balance of refreshingly light & decadent for a dessert.

Coffee Crunch Donut: 10/10, tasted like an apple cider donut but better. Crunchy bits were so satisfying. It’s more cakey than your average donut, but that’s kinda the case with gf food

Cinnamon roll: 10/10, haven’t had a cinnamon bun since my pre-allergy days. So good. But paper kept getting stuck to it while eating.

Chocolate chip cookie: partner says 9/10, I say 6/10, it’s a bit too rich and greasy for my liking

Chocolate donut: partner says 7/10, I say 5/10. Constancy was more cakey than the coffee crunch donut and I just found it to be too heavy for my personal taste

All in all, amazing experience. The workers were super sweet & had a great convo with them. I will for sure be coming back on my next trip to the city!!

expectations not met

ordered a „too good to go“-box which contained two pieces of cake. a blondie with buttercream that was super fluffy and tasted good, though wasn’t exactly special. the chocolate cake looked gorgeous but even though it had a lot of buttercream it was so very dry, i didn’t finish it.
left me disappointed, especially as it was supposed to be of 25 dollar value 🤷‍♀️

Pros: lots of options

Thin mints worth the trip

If you are gluten free, this is a great option. If you are just vegan, I find the desserts a little heavy - e.g. the cupcakes don’t have as light of a crumb as I normally like. But I love the thin mint cookies.

Friendly bakery

We went late in the day and there was still a reasonable choice available. We chose a couple of loaf cakes and they were nice and you wouldn't have guessed gluten free. Would love to have seen some pastries too. #Veganuary

Pros: Completely vegan, Lots of choice , Friendly staff

Meh

The tiramisu and donut I got were just fine but not great. The icing on the tiramisu came off in one large piece. In their defense it was fairly late in the day.

Cons: Expensive

Recommended by the locals

We were having a coffe at the Roasting Plant Coffee (see my feedback about this coffee shop as well) and ask if they had vegan option.
Then the man behind us in the line told us that if we wanted to have vegan cake we should definitely go to Erin McKenna’s bakery across the street (coming from Jersey, he told us that if he doesn’t get something from this bakery when he was in Manhattan his wife is mad at him 😂). So we went and it was super nice!
It’s a tiny bakery, girly and super “instagramable”. The moment you open the door you get the smell of sweet giving you goosebumps!
Lots of choice, friendly staff and you get to see them decorate the birthday cake or icing the donuts.
We had a cookie chip ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
and double chocolate cookie⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
as well as a chocolate donut ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We are not locals but my wife and I totally recommend it as well!

Pros: 100% vegan and gluten-free (and kosher), Donuts , Friendly staff

So delicious and friendly staff

These were the best gluten-free baked goods I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered through the TooGoodToGo app and they gave me 4 items for $5.99. I’ve tried the lemon blueberry loaf so far and it was 11/10. I can’t wait to try the others.

Cute little shop with tons of choices

The shop is small and tucked away but the second you walk in you’re hit with the most amazing smell! I feel they are a bit over priced but all the items we got were very good! I would definitely go back but due to the price it would just be for special occasions.

Impressive vegan and allergen free baked goods

I've been meaning to come to this place for years and finally made it the other day. Very impressed with the baked goods! I'm always skeptical of gluten free baked goods because they often tend to be dry, but these were very moist and delicious!
