Ok - Edit
Personally I love lore authentic restaurants but food here was more like Indian fusion. Not even seasoning, herbs, or spice

Good value. - Edit
En Root have a couple of branches in South London but this is my favourite which is part of the Ritzy Cinema.
Read moreExcellent variety of dishes available. I went for the lunch plate special costing £7 which was reasonable for the price and followed it up with the £5 coffee and cake special (carrot cake with a pistachio cream cheese frosting) which for £12 in total was very good value overall.
A lovely, laid back atmosphere made it a very pleasant experience.

We tried to visit the other restaurant down Clapham Road but it was unexpectedly closed! Luckily En Root has a new Brixton location😄the food was amazing! We got the sharing thali for 2, but really want to go back and try the Pani Puri and mango lasi cheesecake!

Great food - Edit
Food served in the bar area next to the cinema. Felt like it was almost Caribbean - Indian fusion with some of the flavours. Really tasty. Loved the homemade scotch bonnet sauce in bottles on the side and you can even buy some. Staff could have been better trained on what each dish was (as our wraps were mixed up) and they had a bit of an attitude when we queried the bill.

Cons: Service could be trained better.

Deliciousness in the heart of Brixton - Edit
Stumbled upon this gorgeous little cafe in the Ritzy Picturehouse building. Indoor and outdoor seating. Interesting menu of Indian fusion style delights. We had the tandoori wings, the poppanachos and the raja wrap - all full of flavor and crispy fresh. Wine and cocktail list looked great, we didn’t sample this time as we were jet lagged but will go back for sure, to check out the upstairs bar. Lovely service, recommend!!
