Lovely Vegan Cafe that support local farming - Edit
I discovered this beautifully decorated cafe amidst the bustling shopping streets of central Ubud... what a true delight. They have a great selection of healthy & tasty juices, sharing platters (albeit smallish in size for two people) and great vegan breakfast choices and lunch options including pizza😄I would recommend this place for brunch or lunch.

It's a beautiful space, and a relaxing place to sit. I had the BBQ jackfruit pizza and I'm sorry to say, I didn't love it. I thought it had some odd flavour combinations. I think the jackfruit could have been cooked more to get more flavour. The sourdough pizza crust was good, though. I also had the green juice which was very delicious and fresh, and presented beautifully with a dried pineapple on top. I enjoyed being able to sit there as long as I liked and take my time with my meal. A little pricey but if you tag your Instagram page, you get a 15% discount.

I went here once in sep 2019 and had the burger and didn't like it. I think its the tofu mayo that ruins it. I waited months before I came back and im so thankful I finally did. Everything else on the menu I've tried has been great. The pizzas on sourdough base are incredible! Worth going just for the pizza! I really like the kichiri too.

I was happy with my food which was the made salad with a side of BBQ tempeh, my mom had pasta and it was not good at all. It tasted like store bought marinara sauce. It was incredibly bland and tasteless.

Elixir is a stylish and roomy restaurant. We came there twice because the food was so good. Their pizza may be the best vegan pizza we've ever eaten. Waiter said that they are 100% vegan nowadays.

Lots of options. Struck me as entirely vegan. Their pizza with gluten free-healthy crust, and spinach, tempeh, jackfruit and cashew cheese on top was really exquisite!

Bbq tempeh pizza was not good. Too much tempeh. Couldn't eat it. I like tempeh but that pizza does not work. Bad combos. Would be better with jackfruit. Mushroom pizza was nice. Smoothies & juices were good.

Beautiful Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Went here with a friend and had an amazing dinner. The place is so beautiful and creates a wonderful environment. The highlights of the meal were the cassava fries and the bbq tempeh pizza. Everything was delicious to be fair. Definitely the nicest restaurant in Ubud for dinner in my opinion.

We have eaten here a couple of times now since arriving in Ubud. Serving a ‘localvore’ diet, the ingredients are all locally sourced to reduce carbon footprint. The menu has plenty of good choices so it was hard to decide what to get! The mocktails are also unlike others as use fermented ingredients etc for a kind of healthy kombucha style effect. We had the cassava fries (would recommend), a white mushroom and truffle pizza - very tasty and the Elixer lentil dish. Staff are very friendly and setting relaxing and clean.

The interior is very nice and the location very relaxed. The food could unfortunately not convince me.
Read moreThey had run out of black salt, so the scrambled tofu was missing some spice. Additionally the purple sweet potatoe that came with it was very dry.
The mozzarella style cheese that was served with veggie sticks and quite tasteless crackers was rather aioli than any kind of cheese.
The coffee was very good. The matcha latte came with coconut milk, unfortunately they do not have any other plant milk.

They only have coconut milk for their coffee which I’m not usually a fan of, but when I had it in my cappuccino it was surprisingly so good. Also had the Bloody Mary which was on point. And the vanilla cake was delicious. Staff friendly and ambience was lovely.
