BIG BURRITOS!

I loved my grilled veggie burrito. No sour cream and no cheese. Salsa and guacamole were good, too.

Beans and sauces are vegan! Super nice people!

It can be so hard to find veg options on road trips! And I would SO much rather eat at an independent business than yet another Chipotle. My friend and I were headed for a camping trip, and pulled in here with our fingers crossed: we were way too hungry to keep driving, but would they have anything for us beyond chips and pico de gallo?

We get in line and I am so hungry that I'm ready to compromise my principles and just not ask, but my friend says "is there lard in the beans?" And the owner (Elenita?) says "no, all our beans and salsas are vegan - my best friend is Punjabi and I want her to be able to eat my food." 😍😍😍

Ten points for the tasty veggie burrito (on the menu, cheese optional). Ten points for the tasty veggie tacos (not on the menu but they nicely made them for me anyway). And a hundred points for being a sweet friend. If you're on your way down I-5, stop here! You can get Chipotle at home!

Pros: friendly people, beans and salsas all vegan
