Vegan Five Stars - Edit
Have been enjoying this spot for many years now. Delicious (lentil potato) taquitos, rice, beans, fries and salsas all are vegan. Very clean dining area and restrooms.

Vegan Taquitos, Beans & Rice! - Edit
I ordered both the “Vegan” (lentil and quinoa) and potato with the spicy salsa. Both were tasty and crispy. When ordering, ask for “no dairy,” and your taquitos will come topped with cabbage, guacamole, and pico. For $2 more (as of 10/23), you can add rice and beans. The guacamole and pico were both really good. I appreciate the fresh jalapenos and that it was clearly handmade. I was also happy the rice and beans had flavor and were not just bland side dishes like they often are at restaurants. The spicy salsa had a kick, which is also not always an easy feat.

PS - the vegan options are clearly labeled, and the shop is gluten-free!

Many marked vegan options, 2 types of rolled tacos (potato and lentil/quinoa), chips and guac were so fresh and delicious, most reasonable prices I’ve seen in San Diego in a while, $10 for 4 tacos and a side of rice and beans. Be sure to specify “no dairy.” And it’s fully gluten free!

Can I just warn people that parking is non-existent here??? The only open spots were for electric vehicles so we left 😢 So disappointing.
