Wow. Starters were delicious. Service was out of this world. Lovely friendly and informative staff. Had three starters. All memorable and very different from each other which is a great tribute to Mexican flavours. Wines by the glass also perfect. I would suggest they put up a sign as this would help us find the place.

Great Mexican style banquet - Edit
The banquet option is great value for what you get, and they can do it for only 2 people which is a bonus. We received the potato dish and greens with mole sauce for starters, and 3 kinds of taco for mains. Everything was delicious, with lots of interesting flavours and textures, although a couple of the taco dishes were literally dripping with oil. Margarita was on point too!
Read moreBookings are a must, as it’s a pretty small space and they’re very popular. The outside dining area is quite busy as it’s right near the entrance of a big apartment building, so inside is nicer :)

One of the best vegan restaurants in Brisbane - Edit
My friend and I ordered the banquet (only $35 per person which is excellent value) and we were blown away by the food. Each dish had such a good mix of flavours and textures. Wait staff and cocktails were also delicious. Make sure you make a booking, the restaurant is not very large and they do book out.

One of the excellent vendors at Wandering Cooks! Every time I go, I assure myself I will try something new but I always end up with a plate chock-full of tacos! The 'fish' taco is my favourite but there's plenty of other flavours. They're take on crackling is also very moreish.
