Delicious Food - Edit
Eventhough it was already late we have received all our desired dishes and had nice service. The cesar salad was particularly great. We have also had the nuggets that we're amazing and got enough to share and try every dish in our group. A very enjoyable experience

Nice service, bad food - Edit
We tried the veggieballs, the hot dog and the Caesar’s salad. All of it didn’t taste good, so we are a bit surprised about the good reviews.
Read moreThe Caesar’s salad consisted of salad, tomatoes, plain tofu, croutons, mock chicken with a yoghurt sauce. The lettuce tasted weirdly bitter, the croutons of rancid oil, the tofu was just plain tofu without any spice or sauce and the chicken replacement actually left the taste of vomit in my mouth. The yoghurt was also just plain yoghurt without spices. I only ended up eating the tomatoes.
The veggieballs were okay, they just needed a lot more salt and spices. The hot dog was edible, but the meat replacement was also pretty disappointing.
Pros: The service is nice, All vegan, hard to find in Spain
Cons: The food is really bad, especially the mock meats, They’re out of a lot of options on the menu

Good food - Edit
The service was very friendly, the food was tasty. It’s definitely a $$ price range and there is a bit of taste missing in the Interior design.

Awesome vegan food in a lovely atmosphere - Edit
We loved our experience in El Ojú, so we went there twice during our short time in Granada! Pizza Elvira was our favourite, even my non-vegan partner was convinced by the cheese. The owner, Rian, is also a lovely soul with a great passion for vegan food. I'd wish to have this restaurant in my hometown!

We had the Calamari and the Golden Nachos, both were amazing. So many great choices on the menu, so much to choose from!

Delicious but modest - Edit
Truly delicious food. My only note is the portion size of the tacos was a little small. There were 4 tacos, could've been 5, and the portion of fries included was unusually small.

Good food - Edit
I had a bit of a mixed experience at El Ojú.
Read moreAlthough the place opens at 8pm, when I arrived they told me that the food would only be served from 9pm, which was a bummer because I did contact them before hand to reserve a table at 8pm.
At the end, everything worked out because the owner came around 8.30pm and cooked what I chose from the menu. They also recognized they messed up and gave me the drink for free, which was a nice gesture.
As for the food, it was good; but I found the cheese balls too salty.
Judging from other reviews, it seems it was a bad day, so hopefully you'll have a better time than I did.
Pros: good food
Cons: a bit disorganized on the day I visited

El Oju - Edit
It's a very cozy place. I walked past it two times before realising the place, but it was all worthwhile in the end. I love the place and the staff. A must try in my opinion.

Really good food - Edit
Very good food, nice place, and friendly staff. Serving sizes were generous. I came here with 5 other people and we ordered a main each plus two starters to share and it was entirely too much food!

Disappointed 😞 - Edit
Friendly staff, reasonable service for a small place with what looked like 2 people working. However I thought the food was not very good. I should state that I'm coming from a WFPB (whole food plant based) perspective with a preference for minimal SOS. The food here was salty, very oily, mostly fried, and I suspect contained highly processed ingredients.

Sería un buen sitio para tomar unas raciones rápidas si no fuera porque tardan mucho en traerlas.

Además, en la carta varias opciones aparecían como "no disponibles" (como los calamares que aparecen en tantas reseñas).

Simple and delicious - Edit
They ellaborate their own seitan, chorizo, and a variety of traditional Spanish embutido. The vegan cheese they use is delicious. Also, the staff is super, super friendly and gave us recommendations of other vegan places in Granada. As a negative, I have to say that they ran out of various ingredients and we couldn't try all what we wanted.

No longer great - Edit
This used to be a great place with veganised traditional Spanish tapas such as choripán, tortilla de patatas and albondigas. No they no longer serve tapas with your drink (huge disappointment!) and it has become bad value for money. The albondigas we had were really dry and the gambas al ajillo were really bland. The service was also incredibly slow. Them not serving tapas anymore is the reason I won’t go back to what once was my favourite tapas bar in Granada. So disappointed!
