Unprofessional staff. Gave me dairy. - Edit
Walked in and immediately liked the place. We got there at 22.00 on Saturday evening and it was very lively and atmospheric. Looks like a great up-beat place to have a meal before going out. Unfortunately my experience with the food and staff was by far not as good.
Read moreOrdered a vegan chimichanga and was told by the waitress they were ‘out of vegan options’. When i asked to clarify she said they could only do me a vegan fajita, mushroom burger or nachos. I opted for the fajita, which i later regretted as over 50% of the entire meal consisted of cooked onions. (I could have known this from the menu i guess, i didn't read it as i hadn't considered it an option before the waitress came). When the waiter brought out the fajita, something in me made me check with him if the cheese accompanying it was vegan. He looked at it and said ‘no. If you are vegan you cannot have this or this’ and proceeded to take away the cheese and sourcream. Seeming quite pleased that he had found some sort if solution he moved those a few centimetres toward my omni friend, who had ordered a burger, and said ‘oh but you can eat it’ and walked off. There was no apology, never mind an offer to replace the cheese with, say, some more guacuamole (which already came in a ridiculously small portion considering the size and cost of the meal), a free something or some money back.
The cocktails were nice.
Pros: Lively, Nice cocktails
Cons: Brought out dairy when ordered vegan, No customer service, Out of Vegan options

Good Food - Not Perfect Though - Edit
It's good to see a few vegan options on the menu. Went there for lunch and had a vegan burrito. It was really nice, although there was no substitute cheese.
Read moreI thought it was a bit on the expensive side (especially for lunch). They do have a breakfast/brunch menu, but there are no vegan options. I was disappointed that we had four plastic straws for our drinks (soft drink plus tap water each). There's a little outside area, although it's right on a main road so not all that nice to sit out on. The staff were friendly.
It's designed as much as a bar as a restaurant; it's going for a young, party crowd in the evenings. They have music and cocktails etc. It's probably be a fun night out if that's your thing.
So it's OK, but personally I'd probably end up in a Wahaca if I was in the mood for Mexican. It's cheaper and has a better vegan menu.
Pros: Delicious Mexican food, A few vegan options, Friendly staff
Cons: A bit expensive, Plastic straws, No vegan breakfast/brunch option
