Lots of Vegan Options in Beautiful Garden - Edit
What an incredible place! Some Colombian friends took me here and I am so glad they did.
Read moreThe cafe is located in a wonderful, big garden, which used to be the garden of the former Colombian writer Fernando González Ochoa. On the grounds there is also a small museum about his life. The cafe and museum are now run by Otraparte, an organization dedicated to preserving González´ legacy and spreading his ideas.
The menu has a lot of different options and allergens and vegan options are clearly labeled. I had a cappuccino with almond milk and we shared potato empanadas and bread with baba ghanoush and tomato cherry. The cappuccino and empanadas were great but I would not order the bread dish again.
What I liked the most about this place was the garden. It was huge, green, serene and beautiful. I also really enjoyed learning about Fernando González. I'd love to go back and try their vegan pasta dish, soup and/or dessert.
