Still good, but fewer V options at the moment - Edit
I visited on Mother's Day and was expecting the normal array of vegan and vegetarian options as I've had here in the past, but it seemed that they had reduced their options for veg*ans recently. There were 2 or 3 vegetarian options and the chef was more than happy to make things vegan by switching out the mayo for coconut cream etc. and he was really friendly and helpful to us too. It was just a little bit less than what I've had there in the past which is disappointing.

The location remains one of the most beautiful places on the island with a lovely garden in front of the hotel, an open-air restaurant with views towards the sea, and a path that you can walk down to get to the sea (but don't swim, it's too dangerous in that area).
Eco is also owned by the same people who own Sky Water which is a company that is tackling the water scarcity on the island, and they take part in initiatives like beach clean ups that help to give back to the community.
Pros: Chef is able to veganise dishes, Beautiful views and lovely garden and pool area
Cons: Fewer vegan dishes than there used to be, Not everything is plant-based

Fantastic food and atmosphere! - Edit
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days in Nov / Dec 2022 and ate the majority of our meals here. The food was superb and we loved every dish. There were plenty of vegan and veggie options with a different menu most days - we were spoilt for choice! Highly recommend and we wouldn't hesitate to go back if we were in Barbados.

Not to be missed - Edit
I was at the lodge for a week for a yoga retreat and ate the majority of our meals here. The food was incredible! I don’t even know where to start. We could not stop raving about the bread. The desserts were phenomenal. The salads made from locally picked greens were beautiful and so tasty. I don’t eat fish, but those in our group that did were in heaven. If you are in Barbados and want to eat a farm to table meal, this is the place!! Not to be missed!!
