Restaurant belonging to an upscale yoga club. Indian-inspired environment and relaxed background music, some English spoken. The menu online does not reflect what is available each day. Has some raw food and selection of teas. This place is one of the better options for vegetarian and vegan food in Almaty. Has Wi-Fi. NOTE: please send map coordinates to happycow! Maybe vegan, maybe not - Edit
It seems that they have a different lunch set each day. We were lucky enough that that day the set was all vegan. The staff did not speak much English but one customer translated for us to find out if they had vegan food. Food was quite tasty.
Read moreIn the lobby you can ask for the ECO bar, the lobby person will let you through the gate and you can take the lift to eighth floor.

Hard to find but worth! - Edit
The ECO Bar at Golden Bridge is hard to find: look for the right B (there is a Russian and Latin B and both have a building in this complex).
Read moreIt is however worth the trouble, as the ECO bar is a very good veggie option in Almaty, and one of the very few in Central Asia.
I was not sure whether the cabbage roll was topped with dairy or non dairy yogurt, so make sure to ask if you, like me, are vegan. The environment is Indian and very classy, but the food can be anything, not only Indian.
