Healthy eating at Old Tai Po Police Station - Edit
We stumbled across this canteen after visiting the Old Police Station. Lovely setting and nice health food. We choose 4 different elements to our meal - red rice with pesto, tofu and mushrooms, vegetarian rissole and tofu and seaweed $66HK. Delicious fresh mint tea for $25HK.

Great veg eatery near Tai Po market - Edit
I was visiting Chinese University of Hong Kong and found this place near Tai Po Market, one stop over on the MTR from the University stop. There are veggie gardens outside. The food was good but I found the portions a bit small for the price. The menu changes but all of the food option were vegan the day I went.

Low carbon Veg Cafe - Edit
former was the Old Tai Po Police Station. Health, delicious and low-carbon are their food features. I recommend the Eat Well Nugget, Vegetable Crisps & Hummus. In addition to sitting inside, the pupils' desks and chairs outside are more attractive to me.

Amazing place! - Edit
Love this place. Food is excellent, very tasty and cheap! The environment is great. Also you can buy in the shop near the entrance some vegetables from local farmers. This is a must if you come to Tai Po.

Eat Well Canteen, Hong Kong - Edit
The key point to note is management strategy is NOT vegan. The chef since it opened last year runs an all vegan kitchen. However if / when he moves on, management are happy to run a lacto - ovo vegetarian operation. It's managed by the people who run Kadoorie Farm. They keep chickens at Kadoorie and so are likely to use those as a source of eggs for the kitchen in this place if the chef will allow it.

Pros: Tasty vegan friendly food, Affordable, Nice location
Cons: Commitment to vegan strategy would be better
