I had breakfast at Russell's, and loved it. I had the Broke Da Mouf, which is a veganized version of a typical Hawaiian locals' breakfast.

Oasis in the Desert! - Edit
On the real tip - Kauai is not going win any Vegan rewards but you got to start somewhere . Glad I found this place.
Rolled in for dinner on a Saturday night - cool
music - good patio vibe in the back. Everything on the menu is 100% Vegan.
We ordered the Pizza Toast and Stuffed Mushrooms for the starters. We hiked up the Sleeping Giant today and I was needing to make up some calories. They came out with 4 pieces each and were very tasty.
Went for the pasta with vegetables - came wi two big slices of focaccia bread - big portion - wasn’t able to finish it. Nice fresh veggies - good time and experience.
And if you are of sarcasm and appreciate honesty please read the diatribe on modification requests for your order. classic! Funny AF

Fantastic fresh vegan food - Edit
We ate here multiple times driving 30 minutes each way during our stay on Kauai. So worth it for vegan goodness. The staff are very personable and the manager PJ was wonderful as well. We had pancakes, tofu scramble, a puff pastry breakfast sandwich, pasta in a coconut wine sauce, hamburger curry, and our favorite breakfast platter - the Broke Da Mouf which featured vegan spam. Everything’s was super fresh and they use a tasty chipotle sauce that we had on several things.

Awesome fresh vegan food on Kauai. - Edit
There’s not a ton of all vegan options on the island, but fortunately, this place has you covered. Everything is vegan and lots of good, organic, healthy options. I had the curry chickpea wrap (which was very good) and a Tahitian lemonade, which I had never tried before (basically lemonade coconut). Everything on the menu sounded really good, but certain things are only served at certain times. Breakfast items stop at 11am and dinner items start at 5pm.

Great little Vegan place - Edit
This is a lovely little outdoor restaurant near Kapa’a. We had the tempeh BLT and no-tuna melt. They were both delicious. Wandering chickens may try to eat your food, so don’t leave it unattended

I had the hamburger curry and it was outstanding. My husband had the ranch burger and found it really good as well. The outside patio was lovely at night, the staff was very friendly. And of course great to find a fully vegan restaurant in Kauai!

Best spot on the island - Edit
Totally plant based. Totally delicious. The staff is all awesome, and everything we had in our multiple visits was worth coming back for. An excellent variety of options (a luxury on a not so vegan friendly island). Can't say enough nice things about this place. The back garden dining area is in itself worth the visit.

Fresh and delicious! - Edit
Everything we’ve had here is amazing! Customer service is excellent too. We loved the Tahitian lemonade, garlic toast, samosas, meatballs, kale salad with cornmeal crusted tofu, chickpea salad wrap, the hamburger curry (that’s my favourite!). And for dessert, I loooved the truffles. I feel more inspired to cook vegan at home now!

So good - Edit
We had the samosas, the puff pastry jalapeno bites, the tofu curry and the bacon cheeseburger and a Thai iced tea
Read moreThe starters were absolutely delicious. So much flavor and perfectly cooked and the cheese was pretty good. Smaller portions but it was lunch so we didn't want to be stuffed
The burger was excellent with all the toppings and full of flavor.. I enjoyed the curry but it was a little on the basic side and not full of flavor. It did taste very healthy and homemade though.
Cons: Portion sizes

The food here is so good! We ate here multiple times on our vacation, sometimes twice in one day! Everything is fresh, inventive and delicious. Try the pancakes if you’re there for breakfast / brunch and don’t miss the teriyaki meatballs if you’re there for dinner. The owner PJ is so nice! #Veganuary

Outside seating, lots of roosters, good food, good service, no complaints. Lots of occupied spiderwebs in the area and some ants but it didn’t bother us. They also let us bring our own Tupperware for to go orders

Highlight of Kauai trip! - Edit
Not sure but this may be the only all vegan restaurant in Kauai. It’s awesome to see vegan places like this. The menu is fairly extensive and offers unique entrees for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went during breakfast. The service, ambience and the food were all excellent. It rained a little but we didn’t get wet at all (could have been a problem in stronger winds). We got the cheesy puff pastry tofu scramble breakfast sandwich and the pancakes, which happened to be Oreo pancakes that day. Very good! The mocha was also very tasty. Would love to go back to try the many options.

Wonderful night out! - Edit
PJ, the owner, served us himself! We enjoyed a few small plates (purple sweet potato samosas & jalapeño cheddar bites), the Kimchi and Hawaiian burgers, and truffles and a cookie. Everything was perfect. It’s a BYOB establishment, but they will bring you wine glasses. Superb ambiance!!!

Eat here whenever I'm on Kauai - Edit
I make sure to eat here at least once every time I come to Kauai. The atmosphere is wonderful as you dine outside. The menu is delicious and love that it has some dishes that feel very Hawaiian style on the dinner menu. I usually come for brunch but have recently been visiting for dinner and I'm obsessed with the garlic bread, the purple sweet potato samosas, the Japanese burger and rice plate. We've also tried the soups which were wonderful. This is my favorite stop on Kauai.

Really disappointed - Edit
I had good hopes for this cute place on Kauai. However I was really disappointed by the things I ordered. Ordered a cream cheese bagel, and what they gave me resembled more to yogurt than cream cheese, with absolutely no taste whatsoever. The tofu scramble was ok, but could have been more flavourful and the portion was soooo small for 15 bucks. I was hoping for smoothies ans açai bowls as well but they are currently not selling them, not a negative comment just general fyi!

We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, Mac nut tofu, hamburger curry and everything was amazing. I saw a bad review on the Mac nut tofu so I was going back and forth on ordering it but I am so glad I did. It was by far one of the best vegan dishes I had after 7 years vegan.

Underwhelming - Edit
Super great waitress. However, funny story, when I called to make a reservation they told me they couldn't seat me till 7:30 PM bc they were so booked so I went ahead and made a reservation. but we showed up an hour early and there were so many empty tables. Needless to say, they seated us. But then the meal was subpar with great expectations, a terrific menu, but pretty bland and expensive food. We ordered the adult quesadilla, the pumpkin soup, the half kale salad, and then tofu coconut thing that I thought was going to be mac & cheese but definitely wasn't. That was $22. For a plate of tofu, in coconut milk, a scoop of white rice, and some too-tough green beans and under- cooked carrots. disappointing. Nice ambience. Has potential, if the food were tastier. It would've been so easy for them to encrust the tofu in macadamia nuts or just about anything to make it more than sliced and slightly grilled tofu. The kale salad, likewise, Had a lot of potential. It was just too much kale for the slight amount of toppings it had.
