Options include noodles, fried rice, kottu, chopsuey, rice and curry, rotti and curry. Also serves a variety a fresh juices. Distinguishable by the walls covered with white boards where customers have written greetings. Open Mon-Sun 2:00pm-9:00pm.

Cheaper than other restaurants nearby. Trincomalee is more expensive than other areas of Sri Lanka but this place was more reasonable. We had veg curries and rotis with mango juice and it was tasty. The roti wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but food is good

I got a veg curry with roti for 350 LKR and it was amazing! Delicious and huge portions. The owner is really friendly and there was a cross-eyed cat that sat underneath me waiting for food to fall from the table the whole time - very cute! Opening hours can vary from what’s written on HappyCow.

Stopped off for lunch here and was welcomed by a sweet family . We had roti and veg curry and it was amazing , one of my favourite meals in Sri Lanka so far. Delicious flavours and huge portions , only 350 rupees! Definitely would recommend and food only took about 10 mins

We waited almost 2 hours for our food without any explanation or sorry.
Read moreThe restaurant is next to the main road, so it was sometimes really noisy.
The restroom is very basic.
A little bit hard to find in the dark and the road is a little bit dangerous for a walk at night.
The waitress did not really understand my question whether it is vegan. And a lot of seafood here.
Leastwise the food was really good.

Delicious food! - Edit
During our 2 day stay in the area we ate here twice! The food is absolutely delicious and the family that owns it is so sweet and full of smiles. Our favourite was the veggie curry with roti. We had it both nights and would have it again. Kottu was also amazing. Wish we would have tried the fruit juices, but our bellies were too full. We highly recommended! If possible would give it a 5.

Best place I've eaten on my holiday - Edit
I've been eating here almost every day of my stay in Triconomalee. I only tried half of the vegan options available and I wish I could eat everything over and over again! The owner and his wife are so lovely, welcoming you with the biggest and most genuine smiles. As soon as you sit down they move and point a standing fan towards you so you get a break from the Sri Lankan heat (that fan was always a blessing!). The food is so fresh and tasty, the juices are so good I used to take two different ones each time, the portions are huge, waiting time is minimal and everything so inexpensive! You get both tourists and locals which gives you a real hint of the local Sri Lanka. They also offer take away :)
