Hit and miss and overpriced too - Edit
I hate docking vegan places, but I had the same or better quality elsewhere in Bristol, and at a cheaper price, so I was a bit disappointed here. The breakfast sandwich at €9 was bland -- full of tofu but not much else. Luckily, it was served with a flavourful side salad and some Sriracha sauce. The quiche (quite good) was just a tiny slice for the same price. The almond croissant was the best thing we ordered -- flakey and delicious. The lemon raspberry cake again was a tiny slither for the price and although it tasted good, it wasn't worth the almost £4 price tag.

Dreamy vegan cafe - Edit
Serving lots of various sandwiches and pastries along with different coffees and teas. I tried the scone with jam and vegan cream - just wish there were more toppings

Nice location - Edit
We stopped off here for a little lunch time snack. The shop itself is lovely, but no seats inside, there is seating outside but if it rains you might get wet. Not sure if it’s due to covid but I definitely feel they could fit a few tables inside!
Read moreThe savoury food choice was limited the day we popped in at around lunch time. But there was plenty of cakes and pastries.
We had the sausage and egg bun (toasted) which was very tasty. Then carrot cake and pain au chocolate, which again was yummy!
The place is set in a nice pedestrianised street with lots of lovely independent shops and eateries. Definitely worth a visit for a nice cake and coffee/tea.
Pros: Lovely location , Lots of cakes and pastries , All Vegan
Cons: Limited savoury options, No inside seating

The best little vegan cafe - Edit
I just love the East Village Cafe, you get such a warm welcome there. Everything is vegan and they make all of their cakes and pastries in house. They offer a vast array of drinks but you need to get there early to see their fab food offerings for the day. During the summer they sell the most amazing ice cream sundaes. Well worth a visit.

Good food but don’t forget your mask! - Edit
We visited on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. Not sure if you’re able to book a table but they currently have no inside seating (not sure if they usually do).
Read moreWhen we went there were no hot meals available but there were a few different sandwiches including one you could have toasted and a frittata you could have with salad. There were also numerous sweet pastries and cakes.
They have a number of drinks available so I had a smoothie and opted for the breakfast brioche roll. The total for the drink and sandwich was £10.15 which is a little steep in my eyes given the size of the sandwich but it’s a lovely little place and the sandwich and smoothie were tasty so I was okay to pay that much.
The inside is limited to 5 customers at a time so be ready to queue if there are a few people waiting for food and drinks. You also need to wear a mask to go inside.
They have a lot of different things for sale from snacks to eco-friendly goods to ceramics to vegan bags and jewellery which is really cool. The prices of these are very reasonable.

Amazing cakes and lattes! - Edit
The meals are good, but the bakes and drinks are what really stand out in my opinion! Their superfood lattes are something I haven't seen often in other cafes (the pink pitaya is my favourite), and they always have really unique bakes, like smores cookies. The almond croissants they've started selling are unbelievable, 10/10 the best pastry I've ever tried, vegan or not! Slightly on the pricier side for a café, but the portions are generous so not bad value for money.

Visit for brunch or lunch - Edit
East village cafe was perfect for brunch. We had difficulties to chosse from an all vegan menu with several gf options. If you don't see it marked as gf, just ask if they can adapt it to be. We thoroughly enjoyed both the scrambled tofu on toast and Shakshuka with added vegan feta. They also have several cakes at the till and we took a couple to go. Would love to visit again and try some of the other mouthwatering items of the menu. Really friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Fab food - Edit
East village is a great brunch and lunch spot for vegans and omnis alike! The tofu scramble on toast with tempeh bacon was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it. If you want food from the kitchen, make sure you order before 3 and be aware the kitchen is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays. But they have delicious cakes and coffees 7 days a week.

Peaceful and delicious - Edit
Really enjoyed brunch at this vegan cafe in Clifton Village during a holiday to Bristol. The decor is lovely and cheerful, with a chic shop attached to the front of the cafe. I had a blue skies latte and the tofu scramble with tempeh which were both delicious. Just beware, the portion size for the scramble was huge! My partner got the green smoothie and shakshuka which came with really nice bread. We also split a brownie which was rich and scrumptious. Loved that this place was fully vegan and there was plenty on the menu that sounded good. Would definitely come back next time we're in Bristol!

Vegan hidden Gem! - Edit
We were so excited to find this on a recent visit to Bristol. It’s nestled in the gorgeous Clifton village and has a little shop attached to it. The cafe is small but beautifully decorated and the choice was fantastic! An array of delicious looking cakes including vegan mince pies and we ordered a Seitan sausage sandwich to share (they are quite large!) It was my first ever Seitan sausage and it didn’t disappoint! What made is special were the sauces and caramelised onion. It was absolutely delicious! I’m just sad that we didn’t have time to try everything on the menu!

The food was lovely and fairly simple. Most was vegan too. It was a lovely sunny day and the outside area was lively and bustling - we sat in a quiet spot indoors enjoying a breeze. Would recommend.
