Nice food, pricey

A nice selection of vegan food in a lovely part of Clifton. Nice space indoors and outdoors. A running theme with some of my recent reviews on here, though - expensive!

Pros: Good selection, Tasty, Great location

Cons: Expensive

A must try plant-based cafe

The lovely cafe has plenty of plant-based options. All of the food that I had was delicious. If in Bristol, it is well worth a visit

Chic laid back cafe

Great cafe in a fantastic spot in Clifton. Was able to sit outside in the sun and watch all the goings on in the surrounding shops.
Only had a cuppa, but bought a slice of plum crumble slice to have later, which was delicious. It was hard to choose which cake to buy as they all looked really nice - a toss-up with thr chocolate Guinness cake - next time!

Pros: Great choice of cakes, Great location

Gorgeous place, would 100% go back

The good was delicious, the staff were friendly, there was a wheelchair ramp available and accessible toilet. Very cute location and decor which is understandably why it wasn't a cheap place to eat at. A lovely treat

So many vegan choices!

Wonderful little cafe with a huge selection of vegan drinks ranging from hot chocolates to lattes to smoothies. A big selection of savoury and sweet treats on the counter such as cookies, cakes and pastries and a menu with bigger meals like pancakes, toasties, soup and other bits.

Delicious, especially everything on the counter!

The pastries etc. are sooooo good! I'm just hoping one day they'll bring back the tiramisu pancakes as I'm desperate to try them! Definitely prioritise dessert/morning pastries/anything on the counter!

Pros: Delicious pastries, Lovely coffee

Cons: Menu items aren't quite as good as counter items, Often busy, Not much seating

Seriously rate this place

Gorgeous little cafe. I adore the fact that you wouldn’t know it’s vegan and I hope this means none vegans visit.

I HAD to try the fluffy pancakes because vegan pancakes are so rare to find and they did not disappoint.

My MIL tried the croissant and it was super flaky, taste was good and they are also huge.

Coffee was also tasty. So nice we went back twice.

Also has a little shop at the rear and covered outdoor seating.

Pros: Atmosphere , Staff, Menu choice

Delicious and huge selection

Fab range of savoury pastries and cakes, and very extensive drinks menu of coffees, smoothies, milkshakes etc.
We had an oat flat white and a "deluxe bueno hoy chocolate", including cream and chocolate curls. Other hot choc options included pistachio and other intriguing flavours! Mine was very sweet but delicious!
To eat we had a leek fritter ciabbata, savoury croissant (cream cheese, bacon, rocket and chilli jam) and a pizza twist. Then we took away a lemon and courgette cake slice and a cream cheese cinnamon swirl!
The room was tall and bright with lots of plants! And there was a lovely gift shop of candles, jewellery, socks and vegan chocolate towards the back of the cafe.

A must try

We came for brunch on a Sunday and was super busy but for good reason. It's got a lovely atmosphere, sooo many yummy looking pastries and a nice all day brunch menu. 100% vegan. Staff are friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

Nice spot, very expensive!

I visited today with my son. Not sure if it was an off day but they only had a chick pea sandwich left, and an eggy style brioche roll. Both were £6 each which I felt was extremely expensive, and the roll was very small. The cake was nice! Very small portion for 3.90£ and there was only 1 cake available. Tea was £2.90. Perhaps it’s all just normal Clifton prices, but I’m not sure if we’ll return.
Update, came today, was really decent! Pancakes were amazing, and brekkie burrito… recommended!

Delicious food, cute street

I loved this place. The hummus plate was amazing here! Really delicious hummus and bread and the dressing was super tasty too. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and very tasty. I enjoyed the red velvet iced latte but think the whizzed up frappes are nicer. The cafe also sells gifts and I bought some gorgeous earrings and candle stick holders too!

Delicious cafe in Bristol

East Village cafe is tucked in a wonderful space. The cafe itself is a lovely space, airy and has lots and lots of baked good, food, and creative drink options. There is also a general goods / gift store that stretches into the cafe. I had the croissant sandwich, which was delicious and a chai latte, which was wonderful. It’s definitely worth a visit.

The vegan BLT was an explosion of flavours! The smoked vegan bacon, combined with fluffy moist ciabatta bread, vegan mayo and fresh lettuce and tomato make the perfect lunch sandwich.

Aesthetic cafe

We popped into east village cafe to get some cakes while in Clifton. After looking at their instagram I was excited to try them, however, I was a little disappointed with the selection.
I got the millionaire shortbread which had more of a pastry base than usual which I wasn’t a fan of, however the rest of it was delicious - the caramel and chocolate were 10/10.
My partner got the orange and cardamom cake which was super moist and fluffy.

Pros: Cute interior/exterior, Delicious cake
