Dr. J Sandwich, no chz, no tomatoes, extra aioli. Delicious! But they forgot my avocado. *insert sad face*
The lavender cake and raspberry scone were both amazing. Moist, sweet, yummy, and left me wanting more.
I tried one of the croissants but didn't enjoy that one. It wasn't as fresh or good as the other pastries.
It's a small spot, but the menu is rather large. I'll certainly return to try more of her offerings.

Wow I had the Dr J’s Breakfast Sandwich and it was so delicious! The owner was lovely and beautiful soul I could tell. It’s a bit of drive from downtown Phoenix where I was staying I think in South Mountain area ? or near there.

This place is really really good! I’m mad that I’ve been sleeping in it for so long! Great atmosphere and great people! Plus they have sea moss that fresh and already made. One of my new favorite spots tbh.

🚫THE BAD - I wish Early Bird Vegan was opened ALL DAY🤣
💖I was in Arizona from May 16, 2022 - May 22, 2022.
💖Of those 7 days & 6 nights, I ate at Early Bird Vegan 5 out of those 7 days.
💖Customer Service was great.
💖Prices were very reasonable.
💖Food was AMAZING.
➡️After Googling online Best Vegan Breakfast Spots in Phoenix, Early Bird Vegan was listed on several sites.
➡️I pulled up the menu and immediately saw Shrimp & Grits and I was sold🙌🏾
➡️When I got to the restaurant, the owner Krystal stated that the Shrimp & Grits was a weekend item.
➡️I told her no problem, I was here for a week and I'll be back for it.
➡️I tried the ChiQin Breakfast Sandwich instead and the Buffalo Chikn Pasta from the refrigerator.
➡️The sandwich was good and tasty, but it was the Buffalo Chickn Pasta that brought me back the 2nd day.
➡️The Buffalo Chikn Pasta was so good and refreshing. It was perfect. The Buffalo flavor didn't over power the dish.
➡️My 2nd visit I grabbed a Buffalo Chickn Pasta to go and I tried the Dr. J Breakfast Sandwich & THE ADULT GRILLED CHEEZ.
➡️The Dr. J was good, but there was something else better that I ordered.
➡️THE ADULT GRILLED CHEEZ🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
➡️Oh My Goodness that was a mouth full of GOODNESS. It was so good that on the 3rd visit that's all I ordered.
➡️I relocated to Scottsdale on my 4th day there and was mad that I was 30 minutes away and wasn't able to make it on time before she closed.
🚫I won't even mention the vegan restaurant I tried in Scottsdale. Just know that I drove 30 minutes daily the remainder of my trip just to eat at Early Bird Vegan.
➡️The 3rd visit all I ordered was 2 Adult Grilled Cheez and I tried the Pesto Pasta from the refrigerator.
➡️Pesto Pasta was good, but I preferred the Buffalo Chikn over the Pesto Pasta.
➡️Visit #4 was that Saturday and I finally got my SHRIMP & GRITS and they were worth the wait.
➡️Of course I got an ADULT GRILLED CHEEZ & Buffalo Chikn Pasta to go.
➡️I ventured out and finally decided to try the sweets that were sitting in my face and my only regret is that I hadn't tried the Blueberry Scone sooner.
➡️Visit number 5 was my last and final day in Arizona and at the recommendation of Krystal's sister which was the cashier, I tried the HUMONGOUS BREAKFAST BURRITO & another Blueberry dessert.

My boyfriend and I just stopped here after leaving the airport... it's about ten minutes away. SO GOOD. We got way too much food, and found it ALL amazing and also affordable. We're hoping to find the time to stop here again at the end of our trip before we head back to Boston! Go and get all the things!

Had the Fakin sandwich and it was everything a breakfast sandwich should be, like mcd’s but with less murder. Blueberry scone was amazing and powered one of my best runs in weeks, so there is something special going on in there.

My mom and I went here for breakfast because we saw all the good reviews and the food definitely lived up to the hype. I got the Elevated Dr. J meal which came with a hibiscus tea, sweet potato mash and it was delicious. I’m usually not a fan of sweet potatoes like at all but these little cubes were actually so so good. My sandwich was flavorful, had a nice consistency and was just a satisfying breakfast sandwich. My mom got bacon breakfast sandwich with sausage instead of the vegan bacon, she says that it was really good. She liked the beaut burger bun and was pleasantly surprised by the vegan sausage. Highly recommend, the lady that helped us was so sweet and helpful as well. Wonderful experience!

The chicken sandwich was large and tasty. The Black Cherry Tarragon soda was delicious. The piece of lavender cake was moist and flavorful as was the jerky, very savory like the spicy jerky from Loving Hut.

I wasn't familiar with this vegan spot when I saw it show up on my maps app after clicking "restaurants." I assumed nothing was going to come up in the immediate area in the Happy Cow app. Luckily, it's shows up in both and it was on my way to where I was headed.
Read moreThe staff was super friendly and asked if this was my first time in so they could explain what they had to offer. I got one of that day's specials, the nachos. And, holy crap, they were fantastic. I chased it with the tipsy cake which was equally delicious.
I definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for great options and baked treats.

My wife and have recently take a trip to Arizona and happened to come across this restaurant. Needless to say we were thoroughly pleased sans happy with our food and the customer service. I ordered the Dr. J (pictured above) and it was phenomenal as well as their cinnamon role.

We are from Cali and wish we could eat here everyday! The people here are great and the service is fantastic. Delicious smoothies, drinks, bakery items, and food. I had the special which was collard greens, Mac and cheese, barbecue turkey, with a side of cubed orange and purple sweet potatoes. My husband had the Dr. J sandwich which is shown in the pictures above. We also had a cinnamon roll and a Mac and cheese bread/roll. The chai drink was great as well. So happy we could try this place out, definitely a highlight of our trip to Arizona. Thanks guys for a great experience!
