We loved our breakfast sandwiches! Would definitely go back and try more!! Located in an office lunch room type setting, but that was fine because the food was really good! A lot of other really “fancier” places sometimes simply lack in the food quality.

Hands Down The Best Vegan Restaurant in Arizona! - Edit
This restaurant used to be a tiny hole in the wall, but last year relocated to the campus of Sonoran University. The restaurant has a private entrance to their restaurant, with ample amounts of seating space, and even an outdoor patio seating area. There is a ton of parking available, and the crowd that visits Early Bird Vegan is as diverse as their menu.
Read moreFor starters, they have an amazing blended coffee selection, as well as a fresh juice and tea selection in their "grab n go" cooler. I have tried them all, but their Cold Sweet Thai Tea has no equal, and I mean NO EQUAL!
Then, they have an amazing ALL-DAY BREAKFAST selection, from the Dr. J sandwich, to their delectable Vegan French Toast platter, and not to mention their fantabulous breakfast wraps. My brother, who isn't vegan, visits EBV almost daily, just for the French toast and the Sonoran Dog.
I personally love the overall vibe, energy and atmosphere of Early Bird Vegan, but I would be lying if I didn't tell you that the Rib Tip Mac n Cheez bowl is one of the reasons why I feel like I'm in heaven while visiting this joint.
Everything that you get to eat is unique, flavorful and in case you didn't know, made from scratch by Chef Krystal. I recently found out that Chef K (as she prefers to be called), was a private chef for a number of NBA players, and has been selected by the NFL as a trusted vendor. This woman owned business keep growing and growing, and if you're thinking of getting some catering done, then this is the place to get your order from.
Their food is so good, healthy and delicious, that you don't need to be a vegan to appreciate their culinary expertise, and if you like fast food or junk food, then I strongly suggest that you Google their food truck called Trash Panda Vegan. It's delicious & healthy fast food with a twist, and it's worth getting in line for. I love their ELOTE BOWLS and POTATO SALAD as well!
Oh, and if you're a dessert lover, then you'll be in for a treat with their Lavender Drip Cake, Brownies, Sweet Potato Cake, Gingerbread loaf, and if you're lucky, their sweet and delicious Pineapple-Mango cake. So when I tell you that this is the best VEGAN RESTAURANT IN ARIZONA, I truly mean it, but don't just take my word for it, go ahead and check them out.

This spot is located in a Sonoran University building, it has a lot of great choices on the menu and decent prices overall. I had the steak and potato breakfast tacos which were pretty good. Would return to try other stuff if in town.

Delicious lattes, tried two of the inventive breakfast sammies and the BBQ chicken mac & cheese option. Open on Mondays! Easy to find/park (free in the university). Super friendly staff. Got the mac & cheese to go to the airport with (just visiting).

I hope this places opens early and on time during the week. Not only does "Early Birds " open at 10am doors opened 5 after. Then took 20 minutes to get food. 🙄 pancakes were good and for the price they were small. Served on a small plate.

The sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich hit the spot and tasted the closest to the real thing. If I lived here, I'd get one at least twice a week. Chef Krystal knows what she is doing. The mock tuna sandwich is good as well.

Amazing little gem in the middle of the desert - Edit
Super friendly staff greeted me and helped me pick out fresh and delicious fare. I tried the apple coconut ginger juice, the raspberry fingerprint cookie, buffalo mac and the tuna which they happily transformed into a tuna melt for me with the addition of cheeze. So happy to find this little spot so close to work.

My family and I stopped at Early Bird Vegan after landing in PHX and before heading up to Sedona. I had the tuna sandwich my son had the barbecue mac and cheese wrap and my husband had the Dr j breakfast sandwich. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Stop was super pleasant and welcoming. Would definitely go here again. Sorry

Previous post a little confusing. They need to update hours, as was told by staff that they open at 9am not 6am. We had Dr J and BBQ Mac/Cheese. Best Mac/Cheese I have ever had. Both dishes were really unique. We also ordered a side of “hash“, which turned out to be chunks of potatoes lightly seasoned. Not what we would consider “hash”. Both the main courses were filling, so we really didn’t even need to order the side.
