Pleasantly surprised

Went here for dinner. In terms of vegan options, they had a fried cauliflower starter, quinoa patty entree, and two vegan desserts (a crumble and a parfait). Good drink options, great vibe. More casual.

The quinoa patty dish in particular was great as it felt like an actual dish as opposed to yet another Beyond patty cut up some other way.

Pros: Varied selection

Good food - but very child friendly

Opened the door to be greeted by a kid playing with a pile of toys in the middle of the floor! Food was excellent but the ambiance didn't match the price.

Pros: Range of veggie and vegan opions, Friendly staff, Local beers

Cons: Noisy

Vegan options limited but tasty

Went there for a dinner with some non-veg friends. Gado Gado salad was amazing, spicy crispy fried tofu and peanut dressing, would definitely buy again. My partner got the jackfruit pizza which had only 2 tiny pieces of jackfruit on it (?) which was a bit disappointing but apparently still good. Friends got the only vegan dessert, a coconut semifreddo, which they said was delicious. Service was a bit slow but the food was worth it. Wait staff don't know which drink options are vegan.

Pros: Delicious food, Reasonable prices, Nice atmosphere

Not bad

The food here is nice, but more options for vegans would be good because there weren’t many last time I went. The tofu curry is pretty tasty. I’ve eaten here when I was an Omni as well and it was pretty standard, didn’t blow me away or anything.

Pros: Good portion sizes, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Not heaps of vegan options

Too busy to be bothered

We booked for party of 4 at 1pm today, we arrived at 1.05pm and waited 5 minutes to be greeted and then seated at an unset table. The waiter asked if we wanted coffees and explained if we did there would be a long wait. We asked for wine and beer and never saw him again. 20 minutes waiting and we saw no-one, so we left. Really disappointed, as we'd all sorted our drinks and food orders. Left our table, which was still unset, we were still unattended, unfed and unseen. Went to Papanui Club with NO BOOKING and it was awesome, cheaper, great quality and they served and greeted us straightaway.

Pros: None, None, None

Cons: No Service, No Food or Drink, No Staff

Great pescatarian restaurant with vegetarian & vegan options

Mainly fish dishes but there’s also lots of vegetarian options with goats & haloumi cheese ( salads, roasted vegetables with goats cheese )and few vegan options ( pumpkin soup, vegan pizza ).
Very friendly & attentive service .

Pros: Many vegetarian options , Friendly & attentive service

Cons: Not many vegan options

Yum vegetarian food. Very little for vegans. Variety of places to sit - garden tables, deck, indoors, bar.
