Back and better than ever! - Edit
Duke's recently reopened with some new menu items and they are all delicious. Almost anything on the regular menu has a vegan option and the staff is very knowledgeable about the ingredients. Most of the sauce options are vegan as well, which is great for someone like me who is sick of fries with ketchup only. It sounds like the plan is to always have a vegan option for the monthly specials, which is so amazing. The ambiance of the bar is perfect, the people are friendly, the beers are cheap, and the music is incredible. The vegan food is just the icing on the cake of this awesome place!

Vegan options under the neon lights! - Edit
We started coming for the live shows Duke's would put on. Eventually we started to look at the food offerings they had and realized they did off up Vegan options.
Read moreWe eased into the menu with their chips & queso during one of our stops to tide us over. On a later visit we ended up trying their chickpea burger they are starting to offer (pictured). We both really enjoyed being presented with this massive burger of goodness. Although the neon lights do not make the pictures clear one of the layers on this was house made pickles that just added the right about of brininess to the sandwich.
When you pair vegan bar food options they are slinging with live entertainment or even on an off night the house spinning vinyl records on their sound system its a great spot for a night out on the town. That said if you are just looking for a meal they normally dish out food at no cover charge on a show night until the start time of the event. If you are going for dinner & a show would recommend showing up early to ensure you end up with a table prior to the house filling up!
