Thanks to the positive reviews on Happy Cow, my husband and I tried Dragonfly last night and were so impressed. Firstly, it is small plate style so expect to order several dishes that will come out staggered. The servers have a cheat sheet card that lists vegan options and dishes that can be veganized which made ordering very helpful. We ordered tofu karaage, chef special 7pc vegetable omakase, the magic Matt roll, and the big veggie boss roll. Each dish served was incredible. Amazing flavors and the presentation was gorgeous. The reviews about the Magic Matt roll are spot on. I am sorry to say that the bao buns are not vegan due to dairy being in the actual bun. So please disregard other reviews that say they are vegan… we confirmed that they are not. We were overall so pleased and there were several other vegan options we did not order including the tofu yuzu ricotta, mushroom fritters, mushroom ramen, and a few other veggie roll options. If you are looking for a fancy dinning experience that’s fun and unique I highly recommend Dragonfly! It’s pricey but well worth the cost.

This place is really amazing. My family always makes me take them here when they visit because they’re obsessed. There is an entire veggie menu online, and the staff has always been very helpful and able to tell you which are vegan. I will say the soy sauce they put on the table is NOT VEGAN so do ask them for the vegan one. There are really great options that are all perfect. The maitake mushroom fritters will rock your world!!

Got to the restaurant at around five, they have some good happy hour specials. I had the miso soup and the Mike roll I believe it’s called. All very tasty service was great. #Veganuary
