38-year customer - Edit
This place opened the year before I became vegan. Back then dining, even shopping options were scarce. The term "vegan" didn't really exist. No Happy Cow app. I was delighted to discover Down to Earth in 1986 and am even more delighted that it is still here.

Excellent value menu burger - Edit
Down to Earth has an excellent value menu. I love the value burger! It's exactly like my favorite burger! It comes with just ketchup, pickles, and cheese. You can select between two types of homemade burger patties. You then pick which cheese you want. They have regular cheese, so make sure you select either vegan cheddar or vegan swiss. I pre-order and pick it up. It's worth the $6!

Lots of options - Edit
Great selection of vegan items. I had an Asian bowl & onion rings. Could have had a burger, burrito or pizza. The salad bar looked sad, but it was 6pm. Will be back, but probably around lunchtime. It's also a grocery store too.

Largest variety I've seen yet - Edit
They have a wonderful number of vegan options and the food tastes great! I've enjoyed pizza, wraps, acai bowls and vegan milkshakes; and there's still a lot of items I haven't tried.

Way better than the one on King. - Edit
This location reminds me of lassens on Wilshire & la Brea in LA. I used to go there a lot so I missed that sort of vibe. The prices could be better on some items but I like that it’s a vegetarian grocery store. The one on king feels too dingy and depressing for my liking but this location feels pretty nice.

My favourite grocery store - Edit
This new location of Down to Earth is enormous. It was incredible to roam this huge grocery store and not see or smell any dead bodies. I could have easily spent hours going through the aisles locating all the unique vegan foods. The salad bar has an overwhelming selection of vegan options and makes for a fast and fantastic lunch.
