Good to go with non vegans

If you’re with vegans definitely go to Purezza - however if you’re trying to please any omnis this is a good option. They have a full vegan menu and the vegan cheese is ok (I’ve had better but I’ve had worse). The vegan Ndjua was delicious. The pizza bases were lovely and the sizes are big enough to take some leftovers home. I’d like to see more vegan desserts and maybe more vegan options with fake meats. Overall nice pizzas - but nothing exceptional for vegans

Good vegan selection

Marinara is my ultimate favourite, so I was boring and went for that with some red onion. Partner had a marinara but added vegan ‘nduja (first time we’ve seen that in a restaurant). Both pizzas were very enjoyable, the tomato sauce was a bit thicker than we’re used to on Neapolitan pizzas, but it still tasted great. The main menu states they put Parmesan on every pizza and to mention if it’s not wanted - so we made sure it wasn’t added to ours (something to be aware of if you don’t order off the specific vegan menu). Make sure to book, as it was exceptionally busy the Saturday we visited, with lots of people being turned away.

Best pizza in town

The Chorlton branch of Double Zero was always a bit out of the way for me, so when I heard that they were opening another one in town, I was overjoyed. Today was my second visit, which only confirmed what I knew after my first one: this is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best pizza in Manchester. They have a separate vegan menu, so no need to faff about and ask them to change things up, and the options are great and pretty varied, considering that the toppings are pretty much all natural, with the only meat substitute being the vegan 'nduja. The pizzas are huge, making them great value for money, so come hungry or be ready to take the leftovers home. Two positions from the menu down, six more to go 😅😋

Pros: The food, Casual vibe, Great value
