Delicious and simple

Most of the menu is vegan. The dosa was great.

Best Dosa

They know what vegan is, and the masala dosa did not disappoint. Best dosa I have ever had. Served with a beautiful Dahl and a coconut chutney. Good value too. Can't wait to try more menu options. Vegetarian and vegan focus.

Pros: Vegetarian and vegan focus, Authenticity of the dishes, Value

Delicious and friendly

Fantastic little spot, not much of a formal menu but staff have a good understanding of vegan. On certain specials like the Thali meal they will swap out any non vegan items for something else. They have recently started labelling some of their menu items on facebook as vegan. Try the dosa :).

Pros: Tasty and friendly

Cons: limited seating

delightful dosa

Small little South Indian eatery. Food is delicious but the service can be a little slow at times. The owner is very helpful. Prices are reasonable considering that it is possibly the only place to get dosa and other South Indian delights on the Upper North Shore.

Pros: yummy fresh cooked South Indian food, friendly owner

Fantastic! FIVE stars

Formerly a vegetarian restaurant, which has now allowed a few cheese and meat dishes into the menu, this is one of my favourite restaurants. I'd give it 5 stars but Happy Cow won't allow it because it's no longer purely vegetarian.

The decor isn't fancy, but the food is delicious and authentic. If you mention that you're vegan when you're ordering they're very helpful and will let you know whether your choice is able to be made vegan (most are, with very little alteration).

The portions are generous and the prices are more than reasonable. Particular favourites are the masala dosa and the channa dosa.
