Servicio incondicional - Edit

Great option on the water. We went up thinking they were open and they weren’t but opened early for us which was so nice. Food was good and filling!

Great view, food is ok - Edit
This place is in a great location on the beach, has good wi-fi, and advertises vegan/Veggie options.
Read moreFood was just ok. Prices were reasonable but I found my Soy mix burger on the dry side. There's not a whole lot of vegan options in Puerto Villamil so I'm glad this place exists.

Nice place to enjoy the beach - Edit
We had a very good experience with my gf, she ordered the vegan dish and I went for a meat option. Portions were big enough to share the fries and have some leftovers, as for appetizers I would recommend the patacones. Service was solid, it took a bit longer but the food was freshly made and the taste made it worth it.

Staff actually understands the word "vegan" - Edit
It is so hard to find places who understand what vegan means! I mean diet-wise, not ethical wise, that's another matter. The whole vegetarian menu is vegan by default, you can ask to add cheese or eggs if you wish. They also have vegan gluten free and soy free, most of the menu says it comes with soy products but they will substitute with lentils or chickpeas on demand. It is the only place in Ecuador where I found vegan corn tortillas (everywhere else they come premade with cheese). The view is INCREDIBLE, right on the beach, perfect at sunset. There are games on the tables like Uno, Tic Tac Toe and Jenga, which made the wait more fun. The prices are very reasonable through all the menu, compared to other restaurants on the island. The food was excellent, both my non veggie parents and me really enjoyed their plates. The staff was really nice and open to suggestions. They said they really aim to offer options to fit any kind of dietary requirement.

Right on the beach - Edit
The atmosphere here is great, it's right on the beach, they had Jenga and tic tac toe on the tables, fast-ish wifi (which is hard to find on the island). Vegan and vegetarian options but really nothing special. My partner and I had the veggie burger which was a soy paddy, very regular and a super small portion of fries. My partner complained about the portion of fries (because of the price of the meal) and the owner just sort of laughed and shrugged.

Good breakfast option - Edit
We went twice: once for breakfast and once for dinner. Out of the two I preferred the breakfast option, which for me was the yuca omelet. It was basically stuffed yuca and you could choose soy meat or lentils. I went with soy meat and thought it was really nice. For dinner I had a veggie burger and it wasn't my favorite, but due to the extremely limited vegan options on Isabela I have no complaints.

Friendly family restaurant - Edit
Has 2 burgers and potato or yuca omelette for vegans. Food is made to order and serves proper condiments (some places don't seem to). Price is normal for Galapagos.

Great vegan food on beach - Edit
Went here as a vegan with my vegetarian family of 5. We were all able to get different delicious vegan options. I spoke with the owner, and they told us that all of the food is made in the moment that it is ordered. That way, anything can be made vegan. Food was very delicious. I particularly enjoyed the salsas, patacones, and lentil cake.

Not worth your money! - Edit
Nobody in a restaurant is a bad sign, right?
Read moreI got the vegan burger and it looked nice, with lots of little sauces where the server claimed it's beet hummus, mayo, mustard, etc. BUT I think they don't know what hummus is, the promised mayo was like a salat dressing, and it wasn't hummus either. The burger had 3 layers of bread which was way too much and you hardly could taste the other ingredients. Then I ordered a mango juice and asked not to put ice into it. What I got was a watered down juice where you couldn't taste the mango flavour at all. I did complain and they tried to explain with the expensive import prices for goods. Well, I didn't pay for the juice.

Amazing view and vegan options - Edit
Really struggling for vegan in GPS, but this place was cool. Right on the beach and not one, but 3 vegan options, yes 2 are burgers, but still... very good. I asked to swap the fries for patacones (as I'm a bit obsessed with them) and they let me 😄 Burger itself was ok, bun was a bit dry, but the soy steak and sauces were really good and the patacones were amazing!

Intimate vegan friendly beach restaurant - Edit
Cute and surprising vegan friendly beach resturant in playa Villamil, has a sign that says "vegan food", also the friendly employees will as you if you're vegan/vegetarian. Has a good selection of vegan mock-meat, and very good prices (for Isabela island).

Surprised to find this place with vegan burgers - Edit
They had three vegan options, I chose the vegan turkey burger, which was really filling and cost 7 usd. A pleasant surprise on an island with limited vegan options
