Yummy food! Order the Tempe Manis and you wont be disappointed - Edit
Fantastic value for money. It was 35k which works out as less than £2. The portions was good and the service was excellent. I'd ask for no sauce on the side salad next time as it came with a mayo. They were very accomodating and friendly. Their English was good too but I still showed them the vegan passport in Indonesian to be safe. Just reiterate vegetarian but no egg or milk.
Read moreEDIT: they are happy to take requests too. Very accommodating. Use google translate to ensure they understand what you want and the chef will whip up whatever you want using the ingredients they have. Ate here 2 times a day for 11 days so didn’t want the same dish every day!
EDIT 2: the Veg curry with added tofu is LIFE!! So good. Prob the best curry I’ve ever had. Even my dad thought it was better than his chicken on. And the coconut pancakes on the dessert menu is sfv. It’s the second on the list, something Bali- ask for it without ice cream!
Pros: Tasty vegan options, Decent price and can pay by card, Takes requests allowing you to ‘build’ a meal

It is not a typical warung, rather a modern restaurant and bar on the main street (with lot's of traffic). Food is average, nothing special, Indonesian and Western food. For vegans, they only have the options that you can get anywhere. Original cocktails, friendly staff, but didn’t really like it there, it smelled burnt and atmosphere wasn’t great.

Nice and cheap food - Edit
Everything we tried was tasty, the staff and the manager are really helpful and understand what vegan means. You can say no egg, tofu or tempeh instead of meat, or just ask them which meals are vegan. The tempeh Manis was our favourite, but the curry's are nice as well.
