The Tea House on the first floor provides dishes including soup noodles, fried noodles, fried rice, flaky scallion pancake, as well as a variety of side dishes. The second floor provides tea meditation and the third floor provides visitors with sutra calligraphy. Part of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery complex which houses four dining facilities: Front Hall, Twin Pavilions, Camphor Grove (pay by donation), Waterdrop Tea House 1, and Front Hall 2F (all-you-can-eat buffet). Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-5:00pm.

Great option

Tutto vegetariano, ma con molte opzioni vegan. Bel posto, anche se non venite a mangiare vi consiglio di prendervi una mezza giornata per visitare il tempio e il museo (è a una 1,5h da Kaohsiung).

Enjoyable time

We ate in the museum restaurant. The food ranged from OK to very good. We particularly enjoyed the vegetable rolls. Price wise it is quite affordable.

Good selection of vegetarian food

This Waterdrop Tea House, one of the few available at the museum, has a good range of vegetarian choices - Chinese, Japanese, and Western. Located just behind the Main Hall, it always provide a convenient spot for people to satisfy their taste buds after visiting the Main Hall. There are menus available in English and delicious meals are served swiftly.

The Camphor Grove (樟樹林) Waterdrop Tea House was designed by Venerable Tzu Hui, an early disciple of Venerable Master Hsing Yun.
